Bathtub Refinishing

When Matt and I bought our home, we knew we were definitely in for some “home improvements.” Last week we were able to check one more improvement off our list – refinishing our bathtub.

As you can tell, our porcelain tub was yucky, chipped and scratched.

So we hired a refinishing expert from Surface Specialists for the dirty job.

The refinishing took just over 6 hours of work, and included a hilarious white suit.

For the next 3 days, we had to let the tub completely dry before we were able to use it.

Our refinished tub looks brand new and we are so happy with how it turned out!

That's really does look awesome. We need to do our bathtub, but I think we will probably just hire someone locally that bathtub refinishing and showers instead of dealing with the mess ourselves.

Very nice! We just paid somebody to come in and refinish our tub. The reason we went with a refinisher is that we wanted a different color. We're thrilled with the results. BUT - my farmers sink in our butler's pantry may get this treatment!! Thanks! tub refinishing

Refinishing bathtubs would surely be more budget-friendly that picking up a brand new tub. I would have mistaken your tub as brand new if you hadn't put a "before and after" picture!

I love the transformation! Refinishing your bathtub, instead of replacing it, is a relatively cost efficient makeover. Refinishing will keep you from having to deal with days of wreck and clutter of an expensive replacement, thus allowing you to save your hard-earned money, and your precious time.
