Week 37 Bumpdate

How far along: 37 weeks {FULL TERM}

Baby Size: A watermelon {19 inches, 6.5 lbs}!

Weight gain: 30 lbs, could be more. I'll find out today at our doc appointment.

Maternity clothes: Over the weekend I packed up all of my winter clothes and brought down all of my spring and summer clothes from the attic. I know I won't fit in most of them for awhile but it was nice to see brighter colors and I welcomed all of my maxi dresses back into my closet!

Stretch marks: I would be shocked if I don't have any of these.

Sleep: Pretty good this week - counting my blessings!

Gender: Caroline Grace Marcellino!

Movement: She's a busy girl in there and I love it. When she doesn't move for a bit I get nervous so I am super thankful for her jabs and kicks.

Best moment this week: A spa day and getting last minute baby things done! The car seats are installed, the rock n' sleeper is next to our bed and our hospital bags are packed!
Looking forward to: My last hair cut before baby and Easter weekend!

Food cravings: Pineapple frozen yogurt, dried pineapple, fresh slices of pineapple, pineapple smoothies, pineapple popsicles...

Anything making you queasy or sick: No.

Labor Signs: We have our first internal exam today to find out if we've made any progress.

What I miss: Not feeling fat and my legs 5 sizes smaller. I don't even recognize my legs anymore. But it's worth it for our little babe.

Symptoms: New symptom this week, and oh, it's so terrible...the top of my belly, right under my bra line, constantly aches and I have shooting pains anytime I lean forward. It feels like a terrible bruise and is extremely uncomfortable. Going to ask the doc about this today...

Nursery: Complete! Final nursery tour post coming soon!

Belly Button in or out? 1/3 of my belly button is out?

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Mood: Ready.

Workouts: Walking around the neighborhood when I can.

Prayer for Caroline:
Lord, I pray for Caroline this week. You are Almighty and know everything that is going on with my body and my baby. You know the exact minute that Caroline will come.  I know I can do all things You require of me, with Your help. You are here with me now, every minute of every day and night. I know You will take care of us. I place myself and my baby in Your hands and trust in You.

  1. So sweet! This makes me miss being pregnant. At this point everyday I would wake up and wonder… would this be her birthday! She came a couple days past 40 weeks so I had to wait a little bit! Stopping by from www.ourlifeonabudget.com :)!

  2. You look great!! Don't worry about not recognizing your legs, I promise you will recognize them again in a few months. My belly also ached and actually went numb where you're describing yours, but all that disappears when that little girl arrives :) Enjoy your last few weeks before baby!

  19. You're in the home stretch, although it will seem like time stands still as you get closer in anticipation of her arrival!

I had a similar pain you're describing with Freddy. I had some gnarly rib pain that felt like a bruise on the inside. It was his feet jabbing into my ribs, especially when I was sitting or lying down. Once he dropped it got a little better. But when he was born his ankles were so flexed I could tell which little foot was the one causing me all the trouble.

  20. You're going to the love the Rock N' Sleeper. Shelby only slept overnight in hers for 3-weeks then moved to the crib but we we use to take it to people's houses so she would have a place to snooze and sit. It's the best for sure.

P.S. We used the Rock N Play as a sleeper by our bed too! Peanut seemed to really like it because he was so snuggled in. I will say that he only lasted in it about four weeks because he started really turning his head and we were afraid we would wake up one day and find that his head was completely turned in. (The sides are pretty steep so we were just afraid he would push his face into the side.) He probably would have lasted in there for a bit longer (size/weight wise) but we ended up putting a playpen on my side of the bed and he still sleeps there at three months old. =]

  31. My partner and I have been trying for a baby for over two years now, We were going to a fertility clinic for about 5 months before somebody told us to contact this spell caster who is so powerful, We contacted him at this email;fertilitysolutiontemple@live.com , for him to help us, then we told him our problem, he told us that she we either conceive in January 2013 or February 2013,but after two years of trying we were at a point where we were willing to try anything. And I'm glad we came to Dr.BABA Because he predictions put us at ease, and I honestly believe him, and his gods really helped us as well, I am thankful for all he has done. contact him via email: ;fertilitysolutiontemple@live.com if you are trying to get a baby or want your lover back. he has powers to do it, he has done mine.

  32. Random question - what was the pain you were experiencing? I am having the same thing! Did they tell you at the doctor's appointment? I won't go for my 36 week appointment until Monday...

  33. " Mama Alisha Lura I bought Your medication after 3 failed attempts at IVF. While I have conceived naturally in 05, I unfortunately miscarried. After 3 months of treatment using your step by step natural approach to infertility, I got pregnant with my little girl. I do believe that your unique Medication and techniques are nothing short of revolutionary as it helped us to have our daughter at age 43 and a half. I followed your recommendations before and throughout my pregnancy and still do today. Your guide gave me a whole different perspective on infertility even for a bitter skeptic woman who had three failed IVF attempts. Thank you, Lisa for all that you have done for me visit her email her today or visite her website on http://weeblyalishaluraspell.weebly.com/available-spells.html
