Throwback Thursday {Answered Prayer Edition}

I'm feeling grateful this morning. I've never posted a picture for "Throwback Thursday" but today I felt a nudge to share this. I wrote this prayer on February 4, 2014 at 27 weeks pregnant for Caroline and on September 9, 2014 it was answered. It sends chills up my back when I think about how awesome our God truly is. It's never too early to start praying for your babies.
So for #TBT today {and every day}, I'm celebrating answered prayers.

  1. You are such a sweet mama!! I love this :) I've never written out a prayer for my daughter... I definitely need to give this a try ASAP! I think God is trying to gently suggest that I double my prayer efforts for Olive since we talked about praying for your children in Bible study, I just read another blog post on the same topic this morning and now your sweet post. 3rd time's a charm - I need to get busy :)

  3. This is perfect God led mother's intuition. Did you follow a specific prayer guide or journal when you were pregnant with Caroline?

    1. Yes! I followed a prayer book mixed with whatever worries I had on my mind each week. I followed Praying Through Your Pregnancy by Jennifer Polimino and Carolyn Warren. I love how the authors focus on the baby's weekly development and how to pray for him or her. There are tons of books out there on how to pray for your baby and I recommend picking one up that you feel connected to. :)
