- We traveled to Matt’s family in Winston for Thanksgiving dinner this year. Almost his entire side of the
family was present this year so it was nice to see everyone and introduce Caroline to a few people who had still not met her. - I skipped out on the Black Friday mayhem to cook our own turkey and spend lots of time in my pjs on the couch. Caroline was still battling the tail end of an ear infection and Matt came down with a sinus infection. Yuck. So yeah, we did a lot of laying around and watching football over the long weekend.
- We did venture out (down the street) to get our Christmas tree! We opted to get the smallest tree on the lot this year since our already tiny living room is officially at capacity with baby stuff and furniture. But the bright side was that it only took me 30 minutes (and no step ladder) to decorate the tree! Caroline is so enamored by the
lights. Pictures to come soon!
Hope you all had a thankful Thanksgiving.
