Sparkling Pumpkin Cider Beer

Seems like these days we haven’t been able to wait until the weekend to pop open a tasty beverage. Our drink of choice lately has been either red wine or pumpkin beer! Most recently we’ve been hooked on Gordgeous Pumpkin Ale ever since our good friends stopped by with a surprise beer delivery. It’s brewed locally and has the perfect amount of pumpkin which easily makes this my favorite fall beer. And recently I whipped up a delicious sparkling pumpkin “beertail” with it too. A rim of sugary goodness, a little extra cinnamon and a lot of sparkling cider, this festive treat is sure to be a hit.

Sparking Pumpkin Cider Beer

Ingredients

3 bottles of your favorite Pumpkin Ale
1/2 bottle Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider
4 cinnamon sticks
3 tbl sugar

1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions

In a small dish, combine your sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Dip the rim of your glass in water and twist it into the sugar mixture. Place a cinnamon stick in each glass. Next, pour your Pumpkin Ale until the glass is about three quarters full. Fill the rest of the glass up with cider. Sprinkle with cinnamon and add a garnish, if desired. Enjoy!

*Note: feel free to adjust the beer to cider ratio to your liking!
