Strawberry Champagne

I have to share the recipe for the Strawberry Champagne I served as a “welcome drink” for my visitors a few weeks ago! Fresh, fruity
and fabulous, this cocktail is perfect for Valentine’s Day, brunch, summer parties
and more!

pint strawberries, sliced

cup sugar

lemon, juiced

bottle of Champagne {or Prosecco}

sliced strawberries in blender. Squeeze in lemon juice and add sugar. Puree
until smooth. Add 3 tablespoons {or more} of puree to champagne flute. Slowly
fill with champagne. Serve immediately.

enough puree for 2 bottles of champagne

The puree is quite versatile too! I’ve been
using it as a topping for pancakes, toast and angel food cake. But I bet it
would also be delicious on top of ice cream, yogurt, oatmeal and more!

    Your fruity drinks are always right up my alley! Thanks for sharing this. Also, better late than never – I am obsessed with peach ANYTHING, so thank you for alerting me some time ago to the peach champagne at Trader Joe's. I have to go out of state to grab some (darn Maryland laws), but I am HOOKED!
