Wear to Work | 2018 Fall Edition

I recently purged a bunch of old work dresses. These were all dresses that I wore alllll the time and have had for years and years. It’s not that they weren’t cute. It’s that they were worn the heck out with too many washes (some have shrunk a little too much for work and some are too stretched out)  and I found myself no longer feeling inspired or pulled together in them anymore. So I donated the ones that had a little life left, tossed the rest and went shopping! Here are some new-er pieces I’ve picked up over the past few months.

Note: If you don’t see a link for an item, it’s likely from a previous season or no longer available. Also, I am no fashion blogger, just a mama in constant search for a cute work dress.  Sorry to be awkward.

Dalmation Print Shift Dress (only $37 and comes in petite, regular and plus sizes)// Cuff

Garden Embroidered Dress

dressy sweatshirt (comes in regular & petite sizes) // double zip booties // earrings // watch

Tweed Buttoned Shift Dress (comes in regular & petite sizes) // cuff // watch

twist peplum top (wearing the size 2 and it runs short so I layer a tank underneath)

dress // earrings

I love this blazer so much. It’s stretchy and comfy and goes with almost all of my sleeveless dresses in my closet. Perfect for the cooler weather months or dressing up a bit for the office.

Love all of these finds -- and sometimes a purge is necessary! I'll find myself wearing things out of habit and realize it doesn't really feel like "me" anymore.

If you do another purge in the future, you can take the clothes that aren't in good enough shape to donate to H & M. They take clothes in ANY condition and will recycle the fabric! https://about.hm.com/en/sustainability/get-involved/recycle-your-clothes.html
