We had a fantastic weekend filled with family time, solo time sans kiddos (thanks to Sara & Wyn), time with friends and lots of fun activities! It was definitely a busier weekend than usual but so great!
We had a fun night hosting our friends, Lindsey and Ron (& kiddos) over for pizza. I picked up pre-baked pizza crusts from the grocery store and topped them off to make my favorite caramelized onion & prosciutto pizza, pepperoni & cheese pizza and margarita pizza!
Saturday morning Matt and I took turns working out before taking the fam to the movie theater to preview Missing Link and eat our weights in buttered popcorn. The movie was super cute and funny — the kids loved it. After the movie Caroline and I stopped by Sweet Spot Studio to decorate some cupcakes. Later that afternoon we dropped by Sara & Wyn’s house for a drink…and then left the kiddos…overnight!!! That’s right, both kiddos. It was glorious. Matt and I went to Oku for sushi and then stopped at Leroy Fox for one last cocktail before heading home to our quiet house. Meanwhile, the kiddos were having the time of their life playing in Ridley’s brand new custom-built (by Wyn) outdoor playhouse, making pizzas and riding through the neighborhood on Thomas the Train.

Matt and I grabbed breakfast at Eddie’s Place before picking up the kids. We decided to spruce up some of our planters so we grabbed some herbs and flowers at Home Depot and spent the rest of the morning ripping out dead stuff and replacing it with pretty flowers. Then we all relaxed the rest of the day and I made delicious salmon kale salads for dinner.
It was a fantastic weekend!
