From April through October, my Saturdays
usually include a trip to the Kings Drive Farmers Market. Packed with fresh
produce from local farms, the market is a less expensive alternative to
store-bought produce. When the husband is not in tow, I can usually wander the
market for hours, stocking up on fruits and veggies, picking out new plants for
my porch, and selecting the perfect bouquet of flowers. Here are some pictures I snapped from our trip last weekend…
and my favorite reason for shopping at the farmers market…
…GORGEOUS flower arrangements for dirt cheap!
If you live in Charlotte, you must take a trip this summer! The market is located at S. Kings Dr. and
E. Morehead St. and is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays, and
Saturdays.

I love this time of year so I can go to the market. Though ours looks like it is quite a bit smaller. :(

This is my favorite farmer's market in CLT! We used to live downtown and this was definitely a frequent stop ;) Your eggplant looks delish! ;)

when we lived uptown we went there all the time. Now that we are in Huntersville I haven't found a good one up North but this has inspired me to do so. Happy weekend!

I have never been to this one for some reason. I always go to the one off of Yorkmont. But I will definitely check this one out soon. You are so cute with your peaches. XOXO.
