It’s been almost a year since my last reader poll so…
Two quick questions for you:
1. What is your favorite blog right now?
2. What post would you love for me to write?
Tell me! Tell me! I’m always looking for new topics for this little space of mine and new blogs to follow!

I found a blog this past week that I'm crushing on, fantasticallyfour.com. And as for what to write about… I'm personally a sucker for anything motherhood related, lifestyle related and faith related. :))
Aww, thanks Trista! You are so encouraging. 🙂 Glad you like my blog, love yours too!
I've really been loving thegirlwholovedtowrite.com ! She's super fun and inspirational too! I love when you share recipes.
I am an avid reader of a few blogs (yours included!), but right now, my favorite is http://www.franishtheblog.com/. She posts such a wide array of content! I love your reviews and recommendations, they're always spot on. I'm getting married in September, and I am starting to think about things to put in my bridesmaids' thank you boxes, and I've been referring to some of your posts! Insight into what you're loving is great 🙂
Thanks for the Franish recommendation – I checked her out and I can already tell it will be a new favorite!
Love Franish!
I've been loving mixandmatchmama.com. she's got a few cookbooks out that are amazing too. Her brother is Sean Lowe from the Bachelor. I'd love to see a day in the life post.
I'm loving http://www.athoughtfulplaceblog.com blog. I would love any marriage or friendship posts x
The Small Things blog! She's also a NC gal!! (Raleigh!) Topic: Would love tips on leaving the kiddos at school!! We start 3 year old preschool in the fall, sliiightly nervous…both of us!! Xo!
My favorite is DearLillieBlog which just launched their new design studio site. My favorites are your home design and party hosting posts!
For topics to write about: Potty training tips!, Things to do in the Charlotte area & favorite restaurants (we are always looking for new places to eat & things to do!).
Agreed with Pam ^^ – potty training tips and toddler bed transition! We have a daughter around the same age as your son so we would love to see what you've done for Caroline! 🙂
I would love a day in the life post! Those are always my favorite.
pbfingers.com is great and also based in Charlotte! You and I have children around the same age so I would love additional ideas on what you feed your toddlers (my 3 year old is SUPER picky). Always looking for new suggestions!
tabanderika.blogspot.com is a favorite right now – she's a friend in real life of mixandmatchmama.com and they've all adopted children from china recently! I love day in the life posts
I'm not a fan of mixandmatchmama but love your blog because you're more real. That's what sets you apart from blogs like Shay's. You're authentic that life isn't all sunshine and roses. I'd love to see more working mom type posts. Like struggles you may have, balancing it all, etc. I also work FT and find not enough women talk about what it's really like day to day.
AMEN!!! ^^^^^^
Ditto! ^^^^ I really love how you don't have a bunch of ad links in every post. I honestly just really love your blog – I love how your awesome little family is a part of it but it doesn't feel like a typical "mommy blog" (in a good way). I've really loved your posts on your new home and the decor. I also love your recipe and travel and girls night posts.
^^^This!! I don't mind Shay but you and A.Liz Adventures (she will always go by that name for me!) are my current favorite reads because you are more about journal entry style writing. I can't stand that all of my favorite bloggers have gone 90% clothing/makeup reviews/ads and 10% lifestyle. I love day in the life posts, weekend and travel updates, recipes and anything about your sweet family – even the reviews because they're sensible and relevant to me: another working mom.
^^I totally agree!I really appreciate how authentic you are and your blog is one of my favorites to read because of it! I am due with my first and will go back to work, so I find your posts on being a working mom and balancing really inspirational 🙂
I agree with all of the above ladies. Your blog (and April's) stands apart as warm/genuine/NOT braggy or greedy for clicks to Nordstrom, and I can't say any of those things about Shay's. Keep doing what you're doing! I'm not a mom but still enjoy your stories about daily life, home decor, etc. Would love to read about how you plan ahead to keep your weeks running smoothly, especially for nights when you're traveling or having a girls' night or date night.
I agree. Your blog is NOTHING like mixandmatchmama. Hers is not worth your time. Seriously! You are SO much more authentic and real. I like "real" bloggers where it's apparent they aren't just trying to shill a product to me!
Yes!!!! All this… I am glad you are not a rstyle link blogger. I do like clothing/shoe/accessory links but mixed in with the weekend recap and regular posts… I like working mama and weekend recaps. Anything real life, would love to see more of your new house.. and how did you fix your lighting problem? I have the same one!
Can't stomach mix and match mama either. Love love love your blog because you are so "real life" about everything. You never come across as trying to portray a perfect life (like the insufferable Shay). Love your recipies or when you share girl's night party ideas/recipies. You have my favorite blog!
I love your blog, but i will say that I love Shays blog too. As a woman, it really makes me sad to see a group of women bash someone. If you dont like a blog, dont read it. But please dont slam someone just because it isnt your cup of tea. We should inspire and uplift women instead of trying to take someone down. How shameful to every one of you who bashed her. Hopefully you arent teaching your kids to do the same if they dont like someone in their class at school. And no, i dont know Shay personally. It just irks me to see this type of childish behaviour.
Your in my "blog list" to read every morning! Another one i love is Barefoot Blonde – she has great photos of her and her family. I would love to see a post or posts about how you "juggle" your day. From job to kids, to marriage and keeping your sanity – i think it's awesome when you write posts about balancing all the aspects of your life!
I would love to hear more details about your new job.
I too would love toddler meal ideas! My little boy is so close to Thomas' age and I am always struggling with new ideas to feed him!
Your blog is at the top of my list! Authentic and down to Earth. I also like garvinandco right now!
I love April at SmidgeofThis and I'm currently crushing on Landyn at LivingwithLandyn. Her style is similar to mine and I'm remodeling, so I'm digging through her archives. I love blogs that are more "real moms, real life" and less "ads and photo shoots". I'm always looking for great tips for working moms! Especially the juggling act that is work projects, home projects, and family time.
I would love to hear more about your experience going from one to two. I'm expecting my second (my first will be two when #2 arrives). Eek! I'm nervous about navigating the newborn stage with a toddler.
I'm in the same boat here and would also love to hear about your experience going from one to two!
I've always loved GarvinandCo (formerly Little Baby Garvin). She takes beautiful pictures, she's very creative, and she has three beautiful little girls, but she's also real. She talks about the daily struggles of motherhood and she is really funny, too.As for your blog, I second all of the other girls who said it above… I'd love to see a Day in the Life post! Those are my favorites!
This is going to sound weird but I would love if you would follow mine :)http://pinkfordays.wordpress.com
I agree with everyone who said you're so real and down to earth. You write about the pretty, fun stuff and you also right about the ugly, sad stuff. I know I would love to see more Day in the Life, especially as a working mom. I would also love to hear about your workout routine. Thanks!
I have to say, you and April (Smidge of This) are my absolute must-read favorites!!! Other loves: Summer Wind, Sarah Tucker, Holy City Chic, Hello Happiness. I love real life posts… date nights (and how in the world you make time for them!), workout routines, anything and all things parenting (I LOVE the "Caroline says" posts!), any advice you have on anything, and definitely party (and supper club) recaps.
Besides you, my favorite is the sisters Elise and Hope! (formerly Her Heart and Home, formerly Cheers Y'all) They're also Charlotte-based and SUPER keep it real, like you!! As for posts, I'm echoing a lot of what is said above, but would love to see Day in the Life!! Especially if you could touch on work life mixed with mom life 🙂 I also love your recipes and hostess-ing posts SO much, always amazing ideas in there!!
I love when you share you five on Friday–and any time you share any of your new favorities! I also enjoy when you share your date nights! So fun!
I agree with day in the life posts or working mom posts! I'm a fellow working mom and love to see how other mamas make it work also!
Franish is one of my favorite blogs right now. As for a post I'd like to see, I would love to see more posts on beauty and fashion favorites! As a young professional, I love seeing what other women wear to the office! I also love day in the life posts!
Sequins and Stripes is one of my favorite blogs. She is a Chicago-based fashion blogger, but also a mom and recently bought a house so doing lots of lifestyle posts. Love her! I would love to see more working mom and "day in the life" posts. Also, ditto on going from 1 kiddo to 2…all while working!
New home reno and decorating posts and DITL posts 🙂
I love your home decor, recipes and when you host parties/suppers at home.
I LOVE day in the life posts, and what you typically eat in a day!My favorite blog right now is probably peanutbutterrunner.com. I'm sure you have read her!
Yikes…Love your blog but I don't think I will ever read the comments section again. As women we don't need to trash someone else in order to support another.
What entails "trashing" someone? Saying I don't care for one blog isn't trashing someone. Perpetuating this myth that we, as women, must support every woman just because we share the same sex is ludicrous. I standby my comments but don't appreciate your characterization. If I wanted to trash a blogger I'm fairly certain I would say something more scandalous than "I'm not a fan." Pleeeeeze!
So well said Stacy!!!!
I agree with you Kristin. There were multiple replies bashing Shay. It seems very childish. I guess you would be ok with a group of girls standing in a corner talking behind your daughters back just because they didnt care for her Stacy A? And just because you werent bashing her doesnt mean your intentions of starting drama werent there other wise why did you throw Shays name out there at all?
Classic annie A Smidge of ThisBlesser HouseLittle House of FourI love day in the life post! Unlike several of the above comments, I love mixandmatchmama and tabanderika (slaughters)!
I would love to see working mom routines/hacks. Maybe some guest bloggers for working mom routines for school-aged children. Your blog is my favorite right now, it reminds me of how blogs were 10 years ago, which I love. All that said, I love Ashley Brown's sale posts on sweetsouthernprep.com and I watch for the affordable items that she posts and her gift guides.
I'm late to the party on this but echo what everyone else has said about you "keeping it real"! I like the Elise & Hope Blog, Tucker Up, and Smidge of This for the same reason. I also like Putting Me Together for practical style inspiration. Would loooove to see more professional outfit inspiration (so hard to find on blogs when most are SAHMs who wear jeans most of the time), tips for organization/meal planning etc as a working mom, and fitness/health related posts. Keep up the awesome work!
I'm loving the following right now: The Sweetest Thing, Hello Fashion, sequins and things, Christian Blair Style, the Small Things, Veronika Blushing, honey we're home, style cusp, respect the shoes, sabby style.
