How far along: 29 weeks.
Baby Size: A small cabbage (17 inches, 2.9 pounds).
Weight gain: 22 pounds!
Maternity clothes: Starting to look into nursing tanks, bras and nighties for after birth. Any recommendations?
Stretch marks: Nope.
Sleep: Thanks to a banana a day (I think), the leg cramps have slowed down and I’m sleeping pretty good 50% of the time. I’ve been getting up 3-4 times a night though to tinkle though.
Gender: Girl!
Movement: Oh yes, all the time!
Best moment this week: 3 snow days with my boys and Valentine’s Day!
Looking forward to: A hair cut and some warmer weather!
Food cravings: candy, candy and more candy.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.
Labor Signs: Nope!
What I miss: Prosecco.
Symptoms: Constantly feel very pregnant, trouble bending over or getting out of bed, cellulite, shortness of breath, frequent trips to the potty and tiredness.
Nursery: I have a post planned for this week with some updates, but in the meantime I need some help with the whole rug situation…
Do I incorporate pink or stick to neutrals?! And I’m also worried about the possibility of a patterned rug clashing against the accent wall. Help! Do you like any of the rug options below?
one / two / three / four / five / six
Belly Button in or out? In, but getting more shallow each day.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Mood: Happy and tired.
Workouts: The snow storm put a huge dent in my gym schedule so I only squeezed in two workouts this week.
Prayer for Caroline:
Dear Lord, instead of asking for anything this week, I just want to thank you for hearing and answering my prayers. I praise you for this wonderful miracle of life you’ve blessed me with. In Your name, Amen.

I think a light pink rug would be so pretty in there! My favorite is #6, I don't think the pattern on that one will clash with the wall like a chevron rug would. Check out Rugs USA too, I've ordered from there with free shipping and they always have huge discounts! Love that rocker too!
I love the texture and color of #4! Beautiful nursery ๐
I vote for either 4 or 5!
This is totally a pinterest nursery! I love the texture and color of #4! As far as after birth stuff, with my last pregnancy I bought a ton of Olian nursing jammies but will not be wearing them this time around. I realized the tops were WAY to revealing after seeing some of the photos of me in the hospital (watch out when that milk comes in!) but I loved them for nursing at home afterwards. They did all come with robes and I was usually wrapped up in one of those at the hospital but still. I loved my nursing tanks from target. I bought the expensive bravado ones and didn't like them at much for night time wear. They were more snug and supportive and great to wear out and about under things without a bra. This time around my plan is to wear men's wear pjs (victoria secret has some cute ones now) that button with a nursing tank underneath. I also had some night gowns in the hospital which were fine but exposed everything when the nurses checked my c-section :0. I also got my nursing bras at nordstrom and highly recommend seeing them for a great fit.
I like the solid color of number 5, but you need a pop of color. I think the color of 3 is perfect but the design will clash with the wallpaper. Whatever you choose will be perfect as always I am sure.
Love rug #4! Can't wait to see more nursery updates.
since the walls are patterned i would go with something more neutral – i like no.6 xo jillian – cornflake dreams
I love option #4! The little bit of pink will set the room off ๐ it's got just the right amount of "girliness" too!
love 1 or 6 !!! the wall detail is adorable!
I think 4 would he perfect- there's still a slight pattern on it, but it's very subtle and almost unnoticeable. It's got more texture than pattern I guess.
I swear, you are precious!! And hang in there — this is the point where you do start to feel mega pregnant. She'll be her soon, dear!As for rugs, I may be the only one to vote and say #5 or #6. 5 might be a tad too light and show a lot of dirt, but I think a neutral / creamy color would be great and then add pops of pink (or whatever accent color you want) with a throw pillow / throw blanket / accessories in the room!!HER NURSERY LOOKS AMAZING. You basically can't go wrong! XO!
I love number 5 that can grow with baby once she moves out of a nursery.
I love #5, but think it might get dirty easily. As a pink girl myself, I would absolutely incorporate a little pink, just try to find something not patterned or a pattern with all the same color (like #5). The room is adorable though, I'm sure anything would look great!
The nursery looks incredible!! I personally love #5 and #6. Even though they're patterned, I think it'll go with the style you already have going. Already Caroline is a very classy lady!
#4 is my vote! love the nursery!1
#4 because it adds a little color without being overpowering. They are all great options. Lovely nursery!
I think #6 is the way to go….but they are all pretty!
#6! Beautiful nursery!
I think a pink rug would be lovely in there! #6 is pale enough to not clash or take away from your gorgeous accent wall, but will still bring some color in. It's looking beautiful! A nursery fit for a little princess:)
Looks so pretty! I think a pink rug for sure. I also think a pattern might be overkill with the wall. Unless it is a pattern that is a much different size than the one on the wall or perhaps a nice stripe. I don't think a stripe would clash cause it is such a different pattern. #4 and 5 are both winners ๐
You look great!! I think you might be okay with a pattern if you do Chevron. Anything more "busy" than that and I think it might start to clash. Have you thought about one of the braided/straw type rugs- like a Jute rug. I think it would add a little southern flair. I have one in my home and LOVE it. Where did the dress coming from in your week 15 photo? It's gorgeous!!!
I think a pop of pink would look great with the neutral colors! I like 3, 4, & 6!Good Luck! Looks great so far!
#5 or #6! I like the neutrals with a hint of pattern. Or if you really want a colored rug I'd have the pattern be subtle. Either way, I'll look awesome!
#4 or #6. I think you are right to worry about pattern on pattern. Also you want to keep in mind something that will transition when you switch her to big girl room. Trust me it goes fast.
I think #6 is great, but in pink it would be perfect. Have you thought about anything with a more flowing pattern, like damask? I think it would be a great compliment to the angular pattern of the accent wall.
I love #5. It's adds a lightness to the room!
I love #4… its so simple but still girly and adds the right punch of pink!
You are too cute and look so happy in your pictures:) I love what you've done to the nursery so far and I don't usually comment on blogs, but I really like rug #4. I'm sure whatever one you choose will look great. Good luck!
I love rug # 3. Don't be afraid of color!!
I love 4-6!!! My neighbor has that last carpet in her house in a blue color and I LOVE it!! Such a great looking nursery so far!
I like 5! I think you're right that another pattern will clash with the wall. But the nursery is so adorable! And so are you!! You look wonderful!
You have the most adorable maternity shot photos! Beautiful! I think a light pink solid rug would look good. Maybe check out restoration hardware baby or pottery barn kids.
I love number 1. Beautiful nursery. You are glowing ๐
Hi Christina! I found you on the Friday linkup, and what a fun time to join your adventures. I love rug 4, still neutral but with a hint of color. You are beautiful with your little Caroline! Enjoy this time!
I looooooooove #4!!! Like love, like may have to get it for E's big girl room… :). And I definitely like the soft pink to add a bit of color, but not too much! ๐ Oh and nursing tanks, target has awesome ones (they are normally by the nursing bras) they are cute and have the snaps to make it super easy!
I like the plain rugs but love the colour of the pink ones so I'm torn! Oh how I wish I made and sold maternity products that I could have you model, you are just the cutest pregnant lady!!!!! So glad you are doing so well xxx
Ok, you look so beautiful in your bump pic this week! Hang in there and try to rest up some. As for nursing tanks, I loved glamor mom tanks and bravado bras. But I slept in a sleeping bra, get one of those for sure. Mine were fancy free, medela makes them too.Rug wise I like 5 and 6!
Oh gosh, I had the hardest time figuring out a rug for my daughter's nursery…I actually bought and returned three different rugs! So I am probably not the best person to give advice, haha…but, I like the pink rugs! But maybe do a solid pink so it won't be too much with accent wall? Good luck! You have such exquisite taste, can't wait to see how it turns out!
You are so beautiful! As for nursing bras, my absolute favorite came from Target of all places and was really affordable. It was called Basics by Bravado – I think it's this one: http://www.target.com/p/basics-women-s-stella-maternity-nursing-sleep-bra-1450-assorted-colors/-/A-14580918?reco=Rec|pdp|14580918|ViewedPurchasedPercent|item_page.horizontal_1&lnk=Rec|pdp|ViewedPurchasedPercent|item_page.horizontal_1 I never found a nursing tank I was crazy about b/c the internal straps/bra drove me crazy. I think all those rugs are beautiful so my advice would be to choose the one that will best hide dirt or be easiest to clean. We had a beautiful pale pink rug from Pottery Barn Kids in my daughter's nursery and after one rough night with some medication that upset her tummy, it had to be tossed. Oh, something soft is important too so they can crawl around. Number two looks like it may be seagrass? That might be a little rough. Her nursery is just gorgeous – can't wait to see it finished!
I love number 3 and number 4! You are glowing in these photos!xo A Southern Style
My vote is for 3… I think it's the exact pop that is missing! And you are the most beautiful pregnant mommy ever!!!!
#4 is the way to go, duh. You know it's your fave too! Can't wait to see you tonight! xox
I love 5 or 6. 6 would be great if you are planning on bringing in that light pink elsewhere (bedding, chair pillow)…love the subtle pattern in that rug and that it doesn't scream PINK…it's just a whisper. But if everything else is going to be neutral then I vote for 5. And that's 2 cents from the internet stranger ๐
Ohh such a fun post! You look great, doll!! I think pink would look amazing in that nursery…even if it's just accents of pinks — but if you want it in the rug I love the simplicity of #4 (no clashing with the wall) but I also love #6 for that reason! #3 is such a pretty pink, but could distract you from looking at the amazing stenciled wall! Whatever you pick, it will be + look perfect because all are great choices. Her nursery is so adorable + these are all super exciting decisions to make! Xx.
I would love to see a little bit of color (pink!) added into the nursery – it's looking so beautiful already! I'd vote on rug #4… I think it would complement the room perfectly without distracting from the stenciled wall. Any light pink/blush rug would look beautiful!!
I like the 5th rug, although a sheepskin rug would look kind of neat too! Hope you're able to get some good rest! Sweet Caroline will be here in no time! Katelynrealhousewifeofgreenville.blogspot.com
So pretty! I love the idea of adding pink, but I think a really subtle pattern or a solid would be best. That wall is gorgeous and should be the focus – wouldn't want to take away from it!
I think a solid pink rug would be best. Something soft for her to enjoy laying on. Can't wait to see the nursery post!!
You are simply glowing! I totally craved candy during my pregnancy, too. I was known at work for eating Mike & Ike's all day long. Hang in there, momma! :)xo
I would go with #5! I think the pattern won't conflict with the stencil being your focal point but it will add some great texture to the room. Can't wait to see the other updates!
Love #2! I think it will wear well and not be too noticable if something spills (because something will spill…)
Rug 5! You're nursery remind me a bit of mine for our baby (I'm 25 weeks – http://www.littlebabystovall.blogspot.com if you want to check it out). I love reading your blog and how you end every bumpdate with a prayer. You have such cute ideas ๐
I vote for 1, 5 or 6 ๐
Cake lingerie nursing tanks are the best! Nordstrom carries them online and they have bras too! I went with some target cheapies at first that I was very disappointed with
I am a fan of #5 and #6!
Can't wait to see the rest of the nursery! #3 & #4 are my favorite ๐
I like rug #3! ๐ Your pregnant belly is so cute!
#4 is really pretty! I think extra color would be great, but not with a pattern because it would compete with your beautiful walls!
I think a plain pink one would look awesome and give it a pop of color:)! And next time around you could always switch it out for baby blue if need be;)! I recommend the nursing bras without underwire… At least that's what I like. And mine had a little more padding… Not really padded but thicker material that wasn't so so thin. I got a lot of my nursing things at Target. For the hospital I suggest nursing tanks with your favorite pj bottoms. I really wore the hospital gown most tho. Just depends on the person:)!
Love 4!! I think the pattern of the wall is enough pop and another pattern may clash, even though all of your options are gorgeous. I find nursing tanks a pain! Just get some low scoop neck tanks and pull it down. Fidgeting with those snaps, buttons or latches on a nursing tank are aggravating while holding a baby! I always wear a low scoop tank under my shirt. Pull up the top shirt and pull down the tank. Belly and boob stays covered. Old Navy's long and lean tanks are the best IMO.
Oh and as far as bras.. I am 6 weeks post delivery and my boobs are still not adjusted to her eating schedule. I recommend non-underwire(underwire can clog your ducts and you don't want that!) I picked up a padded sports type bra on clearance today for $6. It's really comfy and the padding helps me feel like I'm not flashing everyone ๐
You are a beautiful (and stylish!) momma-to-be! I love rug #3. It incorporates a similar pattern as the accent wall and adds some color – you can deny a baby girl her right to pink!Karlymissinthemidwest.blogspot.com
I think #4 is perfect. It's pink and add texture, but won't compete with the pattern on the walls. Plus, it looks like it will feel good on bare feet when you go in to check on her at night! ๐
I think 4 is perfect! The pink adds a little color but doesn't clash with the pretty stenciled pattern of the wall. I'd go with something pink and simple to add a little color without going overboard. Love the nursery so far!!
#4 is super pretty and fun – I think it would look great in that PRECIOUS nursery!
Seriously love your maternity style !!! Wish I would have dressed this cute during my pregnancy lol oh well next time ๐ I personally love options 5 and 6 !!! Can't wait to see which one you select and so far the nursery is looking great !!xoxoJocelyn @ Pretty Lucky Mama
go with a more solid rug, but don't be afraid to add a bit more color. i vote 2 or 4…maybe layer more than 1 rug, you need some color and texture in that room!
I like #5 but I think a pop of pink would do the room good with all of the neutrals. great job!*tina http://amusingbelle.blogspot.com/
My vote would be for rug #5 or #6. Leaning a little more toward #6. ๐
Georgeous nursery! My vote would be 2 or 4! I love the texture of 4 it would break up all the neutral. I feel like another pattern would clash. Just my opinion! I'm sure whatever you decide will look great!
I would paint the ceiling a pale glossy pink, put a crystal chandelier in the center of the room, and get a white frieze rug on the floor. You can find them at Lowe's, and they are super comfy for when she plays on the floor.
love the 4th rug! so cute.
#3!
#5 or #6 . . . a more subtle pattern would work well with your wall (which is AMAZING btw). ashleynicoleholmes.blogspot.com
Loving rug #6! It goes with so much. ๐
Number 4 looks so rich! It's a great balance of color and neutral (it's pink, but a neutralish pink) and texture is a great alternative to pattern, since it's visually interesting but never clashes. Layering textures and patterns is my fave. Looks like everything else is coming along nicely.
#1 is my favorite! I love the pop of pink and I love a little pattern mixing!
I really like rug #4…it's neutral but still has flair with the fringed edges!
Hey Christina, I apologize if you've already discussed this, but where did you get your glider? Is that PBK? I'm just now starting to plan baby girl's nursery and am looking for something similar. Thanks!!
