Just when I think my belly can’t get any bigger…
How far along: 32 weeks!
Baby Size: A head of lettuce (18 in, 3.2 lbs)
Weight gain: 24.5 pounds and proud of it.
Maternity clothes: Super excited about the new dress I’m planning to wear this weekend for my shower!
Stretch marks: Nope, I don’t think so anyway.
Sleep: Getting up every 2 hours to tinkle but otherwise sleeping okay this week.
Gender: Our sweet baby girl.
Movement: Lots and lots, and I love it!
Best moment this week: Tackling some nursery projects and getting ready to have my family in town.
Looking forward to: I am so unbelievably excited for our baby shower this weekend. My mom, dad, sister and her hubby arrive on Friday! I’ve scheduled a girl day of blow outs and pedicures before the shower festivities on Saturday afternoon! I can’t wait!
Food cravings: Fresh orange juice (with lots of pulp) and a new craving – pineapple!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No.
Labor Signs: No Braxton Hicks or anything yet. Our next ob appointment is on Thursday morning.
What I miss: Bending over without struggling. Matt is now officially in charge of unloading the bottom rack of the dishwasher.
Symptoms: Tiredness, back pain, sore belly, staying full longer after meals, etc. I finally purchased a Belly Support Belt and am excited for it to arrive today to relieve some of the pressure from my back!
Nursery: A few more projects to go before it’s complete. I posted a nursery update yesterday!
Belly Button in or out? Still in, kind of.
Wedding rings on or off? On, and no swelling yet! Hallelujah!
Mood: Ridiculously excited to have all my friends and family in one place this weekend to celebrate Caroline!
Workouts: One dance class, two elliptical workouts. McKinsey snapped a hilarious picture of me attempting a plank during our last workout class together…
Prayer for Caroline:
Dear Lord, This week I pray for Caroline’s skin. Help it to grow soft and beautiful and protect her from getting any bad skin disorders. But most importantly, I pray that You will fill her heart and life with joy. I love You, Lord, because You are good, and because You are all-powerful and ever-present. Thank you for caring about every detail of Caroline’s life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. – Philippians 1:6
