A Wuthering Heights Themed Dinner Party

Last month, Emily hosted the most moody, romantic, gothic Wuthering Heights themed Supper Club, and I have not stopped thinking about it since. If you’ve ever considered hosting a Wuthering Heights themed dinner party, let this be your sign to lean all the way in.

Think tons of candlelight, fruit, velvet bows…and yes, even a literal bowl of fish on the dinner table (IYKYK). It was dark and dreamy in the best way.

After a round of palomas, we moved into Emily’s dramatic, absolutely gorgeous dining room for dinner. The table felt like something straight out of the moors, dark, layered, romantic, and just a little bit wild.

We started with crisp wedge salads, followed by perfectly cooked steak topped with bright, herby chimichurri and crispy roasted potatoes. And then came the grand finale: a flourless chocolate cake that was truly to die for. It was the kind of meal that felt elevated, warm, and inviting, which is exactly what you want when hosting a Wuthering Heights themed dinner party.

I swear, every time Emily hosts, it’s magical and fun. This Wuthering Heights themed dinner party was moody and dramatic in the very best way.

And if you remember her Girl Dinner Themed Supper Club, you know she loves a dark, vibey table too. Same moody energy, totally different theme. That’s what I love about our Supper Club nights — they’re never the same, but they’re always memorable.

Consider this your nudge to pick a theme and just go for it. Lean into the mood. Light the candles. Put a fish bowl on the table if you feel called. It’s always worth it.
