This month Laura hosted Supper Club!
We kicked off the evening with margaritas, dips, taser baton lessons from Laura’s husband (most hilarious thing of all time) and lots of girl talk!
Isn’t her backyard perfect? It had stormed all day and Laura was worried her backyard dinner party would get rained out but the sunshine broke through late afternoon and the weather couldn’t have been better.
For dinner Laura made slow cooker barbacoa, a mexican street corn and a mexican quinoa.
And for dessert we celebrated the September birthdays with the yummiest birthday cake!
Another successful Supper Club in the books!

I love the idea of a Supper Club – this makes me want to start one! You have such a great group of girlfriends!! This looks lovely ๐
I love love the idea of supper club – this seems like a common thing in the south? I don't know many people who do it up here in New England, but I'm willing to start the trend ๐ Question for you – when you host supper club, what do you do with the kids?!?! I mean, obviously my husband can take care of them, but even if they were upstairs I feel like they would know I was downstairs with all my friends and it would be a hassle. What do you do?
Looks like y'all had a nice time.
Wow, this really makes me want to start my own Supper Club (if I could just have a weeknight off from fieldwork!) – thanks for the idea/for sharing!!!Best, Karen from Life in its Natural State
Always a fun night for you girls with special friends and delicious food x
That cake looks delish!! You, my friend, look radiant, too!! Love that you all get together like this!!
