Sunshine Basket

A Sunshine Basket is the perfect way to brighten someone’s day, whether they’re going through a tough time or you just want to send some happy vibes their way. I recently made a couple of these cheerful baskets for a family in need of some love, and let me tell you, it was a hit! The idea is simple: fill a basket with fun, sunny items that’ll bring a smile to anyone’s face.

You can get as creative as you want with your basket. I’ve made a couple that were geared toward different people, but they were all filled with yellow goodies—because nothing says “sunshine” quite like yellow! Think bright hand towels, candy, fun note pads, or even a candle to make things extra cozy. You can also choose a theme, like “tropical vibes” or “get well soon,” to make it more personal.

Here’s what my Sunshine Baskets looked like:

Sunshine Basket for Adults

Basket contents: lime hand towel, sour gummy worms, Swedish fish, eos lip balm, Extra gum, Gatorade {Target}, giraffe note pad {Michaels}, Absolut Citron {ABC}, lemon candle, honeysuckle hand soap {Bath & Body Works}

Sunshine Basket for Kids

A Sunshine Basket is the perfect gift to lift spirits and brighten someone’s day. Whether it’s for a thank-you gift, a birthday surprise, or just because, the possibilities are endless. You can make it as big or small as you want, and no matter what, it’s guaranteed to bring a little extra sunshine to someone’s life!

What a great idea! I love this idea and even thing you could make them in different themes, i.e. for babies and make them pink or blue themed! So cute!

This is such a sweet and cute idea! You have such a sweet heart to be making these for those who need a pick me up! My husband just started his clinical rotations, and I feel like I should make him a little basket like this for his locker :) Thanks for sharing!!
