Valentine Heart Brownies

After spotting {these} festive sugar-dusted brownies on Pinterest I decided to whip up a batch over the weekend for my new-mommy friend. My goodness, are these easy {and tasty}!

All you have to do is bake your brownies according to the package in a
cupcake tin, cut the tops off, add a cut out heart and dust with sugar
{I recommend using a sifter}! See? Easy, easy!

Oh, and they are pretty too!

I am definitely going to keep this idea in mind for future holidays too. How cute would pumpkins or Christmas trees be? Oh, the possibilities!

Cute idea! I had a brownie craving over the weekend and picked up a box of mix but haven't gotten into it yet- you've inspired me to be crafty when I do! (I have that sifter from our wedding registry and HATE it- mine just must be defective because the handle doesn't squeeze evenly and gets stuck : ( booo!)

Those are too cute! I've been looking for ways to make some festive Valentines goodies without using artificial coloring and these are great! Even without being red or pink they still say "Valentines Day". Thanks for sharing!
