Tips & Tricks for Perfect Oven Roasted Broccolini

  • High Heat is Key: Broil your broccolini to get that perfect crispiness on the edges while keeping the stems tender and flavorful.
  • Space it Out: Lay the broccolini in a single layer on the baking sheet to ensure even roasting. Overcrowding can cause it to steam rather than roast, so give each piece some space to crisp up.
  • Trim for Consistency: For even cooking, trim the thicker stems and cut any large pieces in half lengthwise. This helps everything cook at the same rate.
  • Add Extra Flavor: After roasting, a quick drizzle of lemon juice or balsamic vinegar will give the broccolini a bright, fresh flavor.
  • Optional Flavor Boosts: Before roasting, sprinkle the broccolini with some Parmesan cheese or red pepper flakes for a little extra kick and richness.

Broccolini is so much better than regular broccoli to me, but I always tend to get it at restaurants and I've never even made it at home. I will definitely be trying this soon! Thank you!
