Vodka Apple Cider Cocktail

If you’re looking for the perfect fall cocktail to serve at your next gathering, you will love this Vodka Apple Cider Cocktail.

A recipe I originally published in 2016, I wanted to update and re-share this post from my beverage archives!

This cocktail is delicious, festive, and looks fancy but is actually super easy to whip up. When I’m hosting friends during the fall and winter months, this is my go-to pitcher cocktail as it is easy to make a large bath always a crowd-pleaser.

Here’s what’s in The Vodka Apple Cider Cocktail
  • Caramel Vodka
  • Prosecco
  • Apple Cider

Only 3 ingredients! And I know. It’s a bit wild and can sneak up on you. But it’s SO good.

See how pretty?! You are guaranteed some “ooooohs” and “aaaahhhhhs” when you pull this out for your guests. The garnish is what really makes the presentation. Make sure to throw in lots of apples (red and green), orange slices, cranberries, or whatever you have on hand that would be a fun addition. Then add the rosemary sprigs at the end! This really kicks it up a notch in festivity in my opinion!

Also, if the cocktail is too sweet or too strong, you can fill your glass with prosecco and top it with the cocktail mixture instead.

Also, a quick PSA: If you purchase a bottle of booze from the ABC Store and it shatters in your driveway, you may be able to get a free replacement. I picked up the Caramel Vodka from my local ABC store. When I arrived home and opened my trunk door the groceries had all shifted and the bottle of vodka came tumbling out and shattered all over the driveway. I cleaned up all the pieces and ran back to ABC. The cashier looked confused to see me again and questioned why I was buying a second bottle of vodka 11 minutes apart. I explained the incident and she told me that if I had brought the broken bottle back to the store some managers will replace it for free!!! I really hope I never bust another bottle of booze, but I noted the return policy for the future!

How do I reduce the sweetness?

When making the cocktail, start with 1 cup of apple cider and continue adding until it’s the perfect sweetness. If the cocktail is still too sweet or too strong, you can fill your glass with prosecco and top it with the cocktail mixture instead.
