Five on Friday!

Well hello Friday! Let's get right down to it!

- ONE - Earlier this week I made some Pumpkin Spice Muddy Buddies for Caroline's school bake sale. Matt and I had a great debate over how I should price these bags of deliciousness. In the end he said I overpriced them by a dollar but I justified the $2 price tag considering I handpicked every brown and orange M&M out of the bag. Good news - they sold out.
- TWO - I really need to add some fall nail colors to my collection. Any recommendations? I'm loving this color a lot - Shearling Darling by Essie. Also, I had to wash my hands approximately 20+ times before I could take this picture so it didn't look like a 5 year old painted my nails. Tell me I'm not the only person who gives sloppy manicures in bed...
- THREE - Charlie's allergies are terrible right now so I took off work early one day this week to get him a cortisone shot at the vet. He gave me the silent treatment all the way home...
- FOUR - Two new activities we added to our evenings to keep Caroline distracted until bedtime - family selfies in the bathroom mirror and unrolling the paper towels throughout the house...

- FIVE -  An awesome sale on J.Crew Factory Marley Ballet Flats was brought to my attention last week by Katie. I already own one pair of these comfy flats so I quickly scooped up another pair in "burnished sand" at $48. And you're in luck because I just checked and they are now even cheaper...$34 plus an extra 25% off with the code EXTRA25.

Remember last week when I asked if anyone wanted to watch Caroline so Matt and I could have a date night at my new favorite restaurant? Well, we got an offer for this Saturday night and I quickly took it. I hope this generous stranger coming over isn't a complete weirdo. Just kidding, my in-laws are coming. :)

Happy Weekend, friends!

  2. 1. I love that Shearling Darling color - I'm pretty sure we had this discussion about it last year. 2. The family selfie - obsessed with Caroline's huge smile in that pic - you and Matt are such great parents, she loves y'all so much (and it shows!) 3. Stop making your in-laws come to town. The Wyatt's have proven their baby-lovin' skills and are happy to give y'all a night out any time! What's on the agenda for Saturday night?

  11. The only place I give myself manicures is in bed haha. And it always ends up sloppy but it's so cozy in there! & my favorite fall nail color I came across this season was Bahama Mama by Essie. I have vowed to never wear another color it's that good. It's a perfect warm plum that isn't too dark (although I love me a dark color).

And those muddy buddies turned out so cute and I thought your price point was right on and reasonable! Especially for all the extra work you had to do ;)

  12. Some of my favourite fall shades are Essie Chinchilly, Essie Sole Mate, and Essie Midnight Cami (with a coat of Matte About You on top).

  13. Love that picture of Caroline's bright smile!! Enjoy date night... and I'm pretty sure $2.00 is the cheapest bake sale item I've ever seen (especially that cute!)... when they get too cheap, I get dubious. ;)
