Home Tour: Caroline’s Room

Caroline’s room was the first room we started working on in our house…and the last one to be finished. When we first moved in there was a lot of decorating momentum for this little space…and then Caroline went through a horrible phase where she would completely destroy her room during “quiet time” and we ended up taking every.single.thing. out of her room. It wasn’t until a few months ago we actually put everything back in it and I forgot how cute her room looks…when it’s clean.

Caroline’s bedding is one of the most frequently asked about items whenever I post something from her room. It’s from Target but sadly no longer available. However there are several other cute options (here | here)! Her cute pom pom curtains are also from Target. We had a black out liner sewn in to to cut down on the amount of complaints we received about going to bed while the sun is still up. The gold mirror is also from…you guessed it…Target.

We did a makeover on Caroline’s Ikea dresser by adding some pretty overlays and adorable gold bow knobs — one of my favorite details in her room. You can read all about Caroline’s Ikea dresser makeover HERE!

I love these framed scripture prints too! I downloaded the prints from Etsy (Song of Solomon 4:7 printable | Proverbs 31:25 printable) and then popped them in to Ikea frames.

I spent a crazy amount of time looking at pink swatches when deciding on paint color. I really wanted a soft pink and ended up going with White Dogwood by Sherwin Williams. It’s the perfect shade for a little girl’s room and Caroline loves it!
