30A Seagrove Family Vacation Part 1: Our House

We have returned from the most wonderful vacation in Seagrove, FL with my sister’s family. We were quite overdue for some happy family time and this trip was a huge blessing for us — one that we know Dad was smiling over the entire time. I am so unbelievably thankful that we were able to spend a week together making unforgettable memories in the paradise that is 30A. I have an insane amount of pictures to sort through so I’m going to divide our vacation into two posts.

I had a ton of requests for information on our beach house and we loved it so much that it deserves its own post. We booked it through 360 Blue and you can find it here. The pictures honestly don’t do it justice. It is even more spectacular in person and offered everything we needed in a vacation home for our families — a short walk for the little ones to the beach, a pool to cool off in during the afternoons, stunning ocean views we soaked up from the porch after the kids went to bed each night and more. Oh, and the bunk bed room with individual TVs was a huge hit too.

In case you’re wondering who got the dreamy master bedroom, Lindsey + Ryan did after winning the Face to Cookie competition where contestants, Matt & Ryan, had to wiggle a cookie placed on their foreheads all the way down to their mouth without dropping it or using their hands. It was hilarious. 30A Seagrove Vacation Hometv room 30A Seagrove Vacation Home television 30A Seagrove Vacation Home living room 30A Seagrove Vacation Home 30A Seagrove Vacation Homesitting area with kids 30A Seagrove Vacation Homebedroom 30A Seagrove Vacation Home bunk beds 30A Seagrove Vacation Home sitting area 30A Seagrove Vacation HomeStaircase 30A Seagrove Vacation Home 30A Seagrove Vacation HomeStay tuned for part 2 coming next week!

Did y'all drive or fly? If you flew what airport did you fly into?

I live in Panama City which is nearby, I would recommend flying into Panama City Beach airport or Pensacola (longer drive though from Pensacola but gives you some options) if you have to fly.

We drove the long painful drive. It took about 10 hours each way but we packed SO much beach stuff, groceries, bags and booze that we needed every inch of Matt’s truck bed! And we used everything we brought too. And then we actually needed the car quite a bit for grocery store runs and going into town for ice cream, exploring, etc.
