If you’re looking for a cocktail that combines cozy vibes with a little extra warmth, this Chai Martini (or “Chai-tini”) is exactly what you need.
With the creamy richness of Baileys, the smoothness of vanilla vodka, and the warm spices of chai tea concentrate, this cocktail is basically a hug in a glass.
It’s perfect for cozy nights, casual hangs, and a killer brunch cocktail—ideal for sipping with the girls. You can keep it chill with no caffeine for a relaxing evening vibe, or go all-in with full caffeine for a serious kick. Trust me, you’ll love it just as much as I do.

Chai Martini Ingredients
This Chai Martini is as easy to make as it is delicious—using simple, straightforward ingredients you can keep on hand.
Chai Tea Concentrate: The heart of this cocktail, chai tea concentrate brings that perfect blend of warm, spicy flavors—cinnamon, cardamom, and a hint of black tea. The best part? You can use any version of chai concentrate—whether you prefer regular, skinny, or even decaf. It’s rich, aromatic, and gives this drink its signature cozy kick, no matter which version you choose.
Vanilla Vodka: This adds a smooth, sweet vanilla flavor that complements the spices in the chai concentrate. You can also use regular vodka if you prefer.
Baileys: The creamy richness of Baileys brings an indulgent touch to this cocktail. It’s smooth, a little sweet, and perfectly balances the spices and vanilla, making this drink feel like a luxurious treat.
Splash of Half & Half: Optional, but I love a light splash of half & half to add a touch of creaminess to the drink without being too heavy. It also helps create that thick, delicious foam on top!
Cinnamon/Star Anise (for garnish): These garnishes add a little extra flair and a hint of spice to the top of your Chai Martini. The cinnamon adds a warm, inviting aroma, while the star anise brings a subtle licorice note to perfectly complete this cocktail.
Chai Martini Pro Tips:
Chill the Glass: Place your martini glass in the freezer for a few minutes before making your cocktail. This ensures a cool, frosty finish that adds an elegant touch to your drink. I love using my Muse Coupe Glasses from CB2 for this—they’re sleek and sophisticated, making the Chai Martini look even more stunning.
Dry Shake for Extra Froth: For an even silkier texture and a beautiful froth, give your Chai Martini a dry shake before adding ice. Combine the ingredients in the shaker and shake vigorously without ice for about 10 seconds. This helps emulsify the creaminess, creating a smooth, frothy texture. Afterward, add ice and shake again to chill. Your cocktail will have a rich, velvety finish!
