If you’re a fan of the classic French 75, you’re going to LOVE this Raspberry French 75! It’s a little sweeter, a little fruitier, and perfect for any occasion. The original French 75 is a refreshing blend of gin, champagne, lemon, and simple syrup, but adding muddled raspberries gives this version an extra burst of flavor.
This cocktail is ideal for brunch, a cozy gathering, Valentine’s Day, or any time you’re in the mood for something bubbly with a fruity edge. If you’ve tried my Fall French 75, you’ll recognize the base ingredients, but this raspberry version takes it to a whole new level.

Raspberry French 75 Ingredients
- Gin: Use a dry gin for the best balance. If gin isn’t your thing, swap it for vodka (though technically, that makes it a French 76!).
- Lemon Juice: Always go for freshly squeezed lemon juice for the most vibrant flavor.
- Champagne: While I love using champagne, you can also substitute Prosecco or Cava for a slightly different bubbly vibe.
- Simple Syrup: To make the syrup add 1 cup boiling water to 1 cup sugar and stir continuously until the sugar dissolves completely, then chill until cool. Store syrup in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. HERE is the glass jar I use!
- Raspberries: Fresh raspberries are key to giving this cocktail its beautiful color and flavor.
- Garnish: Fresh raspberries, a lemon twist, and/or a rosemary sprig for that perfect touch.
My Favorite Cocktail Tools
To make this Raspberry French 75, you’ll need a few simple tools. A cocktail shaker is essential for muddling the raspberries and mixing the ingredients. A strainer is also important to ensure a smooth drink, removing any bits of fruit or seeds.
