Happy Friday! I have to admit, I was scrolling through my phone to see what I would post about today and realized all of my “noteworthy” moments I’ve captured this week revolve around meals I’ve eaten or pictures of my belly…neither of which are particularly interesting to y’all. So I decided to come up with a “special edition” of Five on Friday today. Since I’ve really slowed down lately and haven’t been able to take on my usual projects and recipes, I am going to live vicariously through 5 of my favorite spring time posts that some of y’all have probably never seen {if you’re a more recent follower}. So here we go!
– ONE – In honor of upcoming Cinco de Mayo, I have to bring back my taco bar from an engagement fiesta I hosted last year. I’m pretty sure there is nothing more amazing than a taco bar. It’s easy to throw together and everyone loves tacos!
– TWO – Now that the pollen has died down, we’re planning to wipe down our patio furniture and pull out the pillows and cushions. We picked up this 4 piece Belize Occasional Furniture Set from World Market on sale last spring.
– THREE – DIY Bright Summer Pots! These are super simple to make and look gorgeous all through summer. We still have these pots on our deck and can’t wait to plant some new flowers in them during maternity leave! You can find the tutorial for these {here}!
– FOUR – With the warmer temps lately, I’ve decided to bring back the rosemary lemonade! Chick-Fil-A lemonade is my favorite lemonade to use. My second choice is Simply Lemonade. Add a few sprigs of fresh rosemary and marinate!
I cannot wait to add a splash of Firefly to this delicious beverage soon!
– FIVE – It’s that time! THYME for HERBS! Yes, one of my favorite projects of the season is planting my herb garden. I can’t wait to pull my herb markers back out this year!
You can find all of the details of last season’s herb garden {here}!
