I am so thankful that my photographer and videographer were able to capture every minute and detail of my ceremony because it flew by and was such a blur!
Moments before the ceremony, Matt and I gave each other handwritten letters to read together {between a door}. This was such an intimate moment and I am so glad we decided to do it.ย
I loved these moments!

Burlap pew cones with baby’s breath, and clear votives with floating candles were everywhere! I swoon over how pretty the “M” in petals turned out too! |
Our harpist did such a wonderful job. She even took the time to learn Thunderstruck {not easy} for the groomsmen to walk out to, and Gaga for the bridesmaids!
Song List
- Seating of Grandparents and Mothers ~ โTill There Was You (The Beatles)
- Groom and Groomsmenโs Entrance ~ Thunderstruck (ACDC)
- Bridesmaidโs Processional ~ To Make You Feel My Love (Adele)
- Brideโs Processional ~ Canon in D (Pachelbel)

The first picture is amazing – it reminded me of when my husband and I saw each other for the first time before the ceremony – simply beautiful!
I absolutely LOVE the idea of not seeing each other but having such an intimate moment between letters and a door! Such a cute idea! Also loved the ceremony site, and the pink puff balls!! Newest follower.
Beautiful! The first photo is amazing– so much emotion! I love your ceremony location, but I'm biased because I was married in front of a stone fireplace too. Love the pom pom idea! So fun!
Love your style so much! Everything is so classy…and the pink pom poms are so cute – I have never seen this and love it!
What a beautiful ceremony! Your dress is beautiful and I love the flowers. Such great style!
I love the handwritten note idea (we did the same, but in such an intimate moment that equals such gorgeous photographs!). My other favorite photo is the second one as you walk back up the aisle–the expressions on both your faces are perfect!
STUNNING! I love everything about your special day. You looked beautiful and everything looks so cheery and happy. Either I saw your door/letter photo on Pinterest or saw one just like it and am so in love with the idea. Late congrats! <3
Your dress was beautiful!!! I was looking at very similar styles when trying to find my dress ๐
Oh my goodness I just love these pictures! Such emotion! You were a stunning bride!
LOVE all of your wedding photos. Thanks to your blog I found and chose The Palmer building for my upcoming wedding. I was having such a hard time finding a venue that I loved, I was very discouraged in my search when I happened to stumble upon your photos via Pinterest and decided to make an appointment to see the facility. Long story short I fell in love with the place and later found out we get a great discount due to my fiance's father being a Charlotte fireman!! Funny how things work out ๐
Oh my gosh, I absolutely ADORE the letter exchange photo! It's a brilliant idea and I can't get over the emotion captured so perfectly in this. I'd have loved to do this at my own wedding. Would you mind if I featured this post in my blog? I'd love to share this idea!
