June Supper Club

Last Tuesday we celebrated our June Supper Club. This party was a little different than usual because it was our last Supper Club before our BFF Lisa moves away. Lisa was set to host dinner this month at her home but we all convinced her we should definitely go offsite instead to make it easy. After comparing calendars, we landed on a Tuesday night to accommodate as many girls in the club as possible. And what goes well with Tuesdays? Tacos & margaritas! We did a brief search and ultimately picked Cantina 1511 Uptown as soon as we discovered Tuesday night was karaoke night with fantastic margarita specials…

We started with pitchers of margaritas, chips & queso and guacamole to get the party started. Then instead of ordering entrees we picked out several platters of a variety of tacos to pass around the table. This was awesome because we each got to try lots of different things.

After a few more pitchers of liquid courage we all decided it was time to karaoke.

Dessert break! I am still dreaming about those churros dipped in strawberry chocolate sauce.

Rounds of karaoke included “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” duet by Laura & Lisa, “I’ve Got Friends In Low Places” by the club and Laura closed out the evening with a finale of “Oops I Did It Again.”

Our girls night out was epic and there were flurries of texts the following day gushing over how memorable it was. This will forever go down as one of my very favorite Supper Clubs ever.
