Lucky Charms Milkshake Ingredients
The perfect Lucky Charms Milkshake comes together with just a few fun and tasty ingredients to make the most festive and nostalgic treat. Here’s a quick breakdown of what you’ll need:
- Vanilla Ice Cream: This is the base that makes everything creamy and dreamy. You can’t go wrong with a classic vanilla—just go for the good stuff for that extra rich, smooth texture. For a thicker milkshake, go with full-fat ice cream. And don’t forget to set out the ice cream for a few minutes so it’s easier to scoop.
- Milk: Whole milk is your best friend here! It makes the shake extra creamy, but if you’re in a pinch, any kind of milk works. You could even swap in oat or almond milk if you prefer. For a thinner milkshake, add more milk.
- Lucky Charms Cereal: The star of the show! You know and love those sweet little marshmallows, but the cereal itself gives the milkshake a nice crunch and an awesome nostalgic flavor. Pro tip: If you let the cereal sit in the milk for a minute, you’ll get even more of that sweet cereal flavor.
- Green Food Coloring: Totally optional – just a couple of drops gives your milkshake that perfect St. Patrick’s Day green without it being over-the-top.
- Toppings: Whipped cream and Lucky Charms marshmallows (because more marshmallows = more fun. Just toss some on top to give it that extra pop of color and crunch). And if you want to get real wild, you can smear a little frosting around the rim of the glass and dip it in crushed Lucky Charms cereal for a gorgeous and extra sweet detail! You can also BUY extra cereal marshmallows for the topping too!
