Easter Charcuterie Board

Sharing our Easter charcuterie board from last year in case you’re looking for a fun snack to graze on during the holiday weekend!

But first, if you looked at this and thought “oh my goodness, that looks too complicated!” let me break it down for you! The beauty of this board is that while it does look complicated, it’s WAY easier to put together than you would think.

The trick is to lay out the big items like the cheeses and vegetables first…then fill, fill, fill with lots of little things like crackers, fruits, candy, and herb garnishes. The more holes you can fill, the prettier the board gets!

Anyway, here is the charcuterie board I will be making (again) for Easter!

Easter Charcuterie Board

I LOVE an over-the-top snack board for grazing on all day while celebrating a holiday. I usually load up my boards with lots of fresh fruit, veggies, crackers, meats, cheeses and sweets!

I know snack boards can look intimidating, but I promise they are WAY easier to pull together than you think!

Easter Charcuterie Board Tips

  1. Start with a large platter, plate or charcuterie board. I love to use my 21″ bourbon barrel charcuterie board from The Table Fix.
  2. Place the largest items on the board first (cheese, cookies, carrots, etc.).
  3. Start filling in the space with slightly smaller snack items (fruit, veggies, meats, etc.)
  4. Fill in any holes with your tiniest items (jellybeans, m&ms, diced fruit, crackers, etc.)!

I purchased all of my snack board items from Trader Joe’s and Harris Teeter. I always find Trader Joe’s to have the best selection of colorful and unique veggies (ex: rainbow carrots & cauliflower), gorgeous flowers and reasonably priced cheeses and meats! I usually grab everything else from Harris Teeter and for this board I hit the jackpot in the season aisle for Easter candy and cookies!

Hi! It’s beautiful, but I’m wondering what it looks like after the kids get at it? Does it just turn into a soupy mess? Also wondering if stuff gets wet or has a weird taste from being so close…like do the peeps taste like broccoli?? I want to try it but I’m worried about how practical it is. It looks like art!

haha. ALL good questions! I will say it definitely does NOT stay pretty for long but the food doesn't get weird! I try to pair dry items together and put dips in separate dishes!
