Our Family Feature: South Charlotte Neighbors Magazine

I’m so honored (and honestly still a little in disbelief) that our family was featured in the October issue of South Charlotte Neighbors Magazine. The article shares a look back on my journey through a prophylactic double mastectomy ten years later, how Matt and I first met, and the life we’ve built here in Charlotte since those early, chaotic days of juggling careers and toddlers.

Reading our story in print brought up so many emotions…gratitude, perspective, and a deep appreciation for how far we’ve come.

And because she clearly runs the show around here, Mabel also made her magazine debut this month as South Charlotte Neighbors’ Pet of the Month! Her interview could not have captured her personality more perfectly. She truly believes every guest who walks through our front door comes to see her (and honestly, she’s not wrong). Between chasing squirrels, stealing socks, and cozying up for lap cuddles, she’s living her best doodle life.
