Hurricane Florence…Day #5

Today marks our 5th hurricane day at home. Are we all going stir crazy with cabin fever? Absolutely. But I’ll take it because I am beyond thankful that we didn’t experienced any damage to our home (just the yard — RIP new hydrangea tree) and kept power the entire time (so far). But most of all, I’m thankful all of my people are safe! Thoughts and prayers to those who were impacted by Florence.

So what’s on deck today in between work emails and calls? Well, I promised Caroline pedicures and homemade sprinkle cookies. I’m pretty sure Matt and Tom Tom will spend most of the day picking up sticks and swimming in our backyard. And I think everyone has voted to keep the air mattress parked in our family room indefinitely…
