What is Burrata?
The burrata is the star of the show here so don’t substitute it! I’ve found the best price to be at Trader Joe’s!
If you’re unfamiliar with this cheese, burrata is a soft Italian cheese. The outer shell is made of solid mozzarella, while the inside is filled with a soft, creamy mixture of cheese and cream. Not only is it delicious, but it’s also a beautiful cheese that instantly elevates any dish!
It is best served at room temperature and drizzled with high quality extra virgin olive oil (we LOVE Kosterina) and sprinkled with sea salt flakes and a dash of ground pepper.
