When I asked y’all for recommendations for the best resorts on Florida beaches for a quick getaway, sans kids, y’all came through big time.
It was hard for us to pick and we ended up in St. Pete Beach at the Don Cesar Resort! The ginormous pink palace was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed — a beautiful hotel room, several pools, a daily beach set-up included, multiple restaurants, great bars, ice cream & candy shops, and more. It was perfect.
Alright, as promised, I’ve rounded up the recommendations below! All of these places look absolutely incredible for a getaway with friends or your significant other.

Just wanted to add an additional rec for Miami -- the Stanton South Beach! This is a Marriott property (for those who have/want Bonvoy points!) in the amazing "South of Fifth" neighborhood, and it was so perfect for families traveling with kids. Pros: Two pools + hot tub right on the property that provided floaties and toys for kids. Great beach chairs and option for cabana in front of the ocean and they also had buckets and shovels and toys for kids. AND, genuinely great restaurant on site that served food and drinks poolside and beach front. Walkable to a great diner, multiple coffee shops, and bodegas + drug stores for anything you might need. Cons: honestly only one, which is that while they do have one set of adjoining rooms on each floor, they are right next to the elevator so it could get a bit noisy overnight on the weekends. It's a boutique hotel and not super luxe but much more affordable than some of the others mentioned, yet honestly still felt nice!

I JUST got back from a stay at the Amara Cay Resort in Islamorada! Great resort! Pros: great pool, super nice staff, walkable to some great breakfast spots and a few dinner spots. Cons: not a great beach, expensive food and drinks, not easy to use the paddle boards if it’s too windy. Overall, we had a relaxing time which what just what we wanted!
