Five on Friday

Happy Friday!

one // During the last Sephora sale I picked up what I’m calling my favorite makeup product yet — Becca Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder. I’ve never found the right setting powder to gently blur the areas of my face that I pretend to know how to contour until now! I’m not trying to sound dramatic, but this is seriously one of the best products I’ve ever used. It’s a translucent weightless powder made up of 50% water and glycerin and it feels cold and misty when you apply it. And the best part, it keeps my makeup looking fresh all day! Buy one for yourself and one for your mama for Mother’s Day! (You can order through Nordstrom for free shipping)

two // I had some messages on Instagram informing me that the dress I posted is SOLD OUT. In case I couldn’t respond to your message (sorry), I would tell you to keep checking! When I tried to buy the dress initially it was sold out in my size but two days later was back in stock in all sizes. Keep checking!

three // Cashed in my hall pass last night and used one of my favorite rose oil face masks ($12 and lasts forever) and cracked open a new book per so many of your recommendations, In a Dark, Dark Wood! I’m only 50 pages in and am super intrigued! Ruth Ware is an excellent author.

four // For an upcoming beach weekend I ordered this cute new one piece swimsuit…for $9 (& free shipping)!!! It took two weeks to arrive and I was skeptical on how it would fit…and it’s PERFECT. It has removable padded cups, removable straps and the print is just adorable! The reviews are what sold me. Lots of women of all different sizes raved about this suit!

five // Caroline’s 4th birthday party is tomorrow and we’re throwing a Flamingo Fiesta for her! So tonight I’ll be running around like a crazy person fluffing pom poms, picking up cupcakes, ice and tequila, vacuuming the house and checking the boxes on all the lists! Y’all know I love a good party!

 Happy Cinco de Mayo weekend!
