Gone are the days when I had enough time to plant herbs and keep them alive all summer. Well, that’s not exactly true. Every (and I mean every) spring I get suuuuuuper excited to scoop up ALL the herbs from Home Depot. I swear each year will be different from the last and that I’ll perfectly plant them and diligently water them..for about a week. Then Matt takes over the herb watering because he’s awesome and then reminds me the following spring that if I want to plant herbs I should care for them. Touche, Matt. Touche. But this year I promise things will be different. For real.
Because I have another person to take over the watering duties. And she takes this job really seriously.
Ā But they have their work cut out for them because weĀ purchased our herbs during a random Home Depot run and then let them sitĀ in the bed of Matt’s truck for about a week before remembering to plantĀ them. Oops. Wish them luck!
PS – If you have toddlers, you need this Little Tikes Garden Table for the summer!Ā

Good luck! I always go crazy with my herb garden too, and buy herbs I've never even heard of! Ha!
I always try to get my kids to take over all plant watering duties! I have a black thumb and manage to kill everything. I thought they were doing so well until I caught them watering the flowers by the pool with POOL WATER. No wonder they were dying faster than normal. š And that little table is adorable! I miss having littles! That Inspired Chick
How fun! This makes me want to plant an herb garden with my Little – maybe next year. I think he would love it!
Ugh I spent sooo much money on herbs and vegetable plants then it got super cold outside and they all froze and died š go figure
