My absolute favorite 23 Amazon items I purchased in 2023…
1. Tineco Smart Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
I had to do it. I had to kick off the list with my #1 most favorite item I purchased in 2023 (the remaining items are in no particular order). I wish I could invite every single one of you to my house to watch this baby in action. It blows my mind EVERY time I use it. Not only is this magical machine super effective at vacuuming and mopping at the SAME TIME, it’s easy to clean (all the parts) to keep it odor-less and in perfect condition. It comes with cleaning solution (which is what I use) and I mop my marble floors and hardwoods with it! I would say to wait for a sale because it’s pricey, but I would honestly pay full price for this and never think twice. It’s that amazing. Ok, I’ll stop because I have 22 other items to share…
2. Shower Thoughts
This waterproof notepad is something I’ve needed all my life! I think about SO much stuff in the shower — ideas for Carolina Charm, tasks I need to tackle, items I need to add to my grocery list, etc. And by the time I step out of the shower I totally forget it all. Not anymore! This “shower thoughts” notepad is waterproof and has 40 perforated sheets so you just tear off your note sheet when you’re done showering and boom — all the ideas have been saved!
3. Garlic Twister
This magic garlic twister is AMAZING. All you do is throw a few cloves into the container and twist! And getting ALL the garlic out is so easy — just make sure to line up the twist correctly and you can scoop it all right out. It’s also easy to clean, I toss mine right into the dishwasher. Anyway, this little tool has been a game-changer in the kitchen for me. HIGHLY recommend!!!
4. Daily Planner Pad
This 6×9 pad breaks out those to do lists into different sections including work and personal, features a timed daily schedule, and a top 3 priority tracker! I am really love this format.
5. Sunburst Earrings
These sun earrings are super fun! One of my girlfriends was wearing them and I loved them so much. She sent me the Amazon link and the next day they were at my door. Such a good Amazon find!
6. Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro
My second favorite purchase (to the Tineco) in 2023. It’s an air fryer combo too, so I am able to consolidate two appliances into one! So many of you have raved and raved about this appliance (a lot of you mentioned you rarely use your big oven anymore) and now I totally get it!
7. The Beauty Spatty
The Beauty Spatty is amazing for getting every last drop out of our beauty products. This under $5 product has helped me get SO much more life out of my products after I cut them open.
8. Vitamin B Complex
A few months ago my doctor overhauled all my vitamins and supplements based on my lab results. She recommended I start taking a B-Complex vitamin for improving my memory and for an energy boost in the afternoons (when I typically crash) and I wanted to share it with you because it’s really made a HUGE impact.
I’ve actually been taking a B12 vitamin for a long time and didn’t know until my doctor informed me that the generic brand I was purchasing all this time contained cyanocobalmin, a cost-effective form of B12 that does not absorb into the body as easily as methylcobalamin.
Additionally, my doctor recommended a B-complex vitamin over a B12 vitamin because it contains a handful of other B vitamins as well.
One last tip to pass on — take this vitamin at lunch or in the early afternoon. I was told to treat it as a cup of coffee and not to take it too late in the day. While I haven’t noticed any significant improvements in my memory (life is truly wild right now though), I absoluuuuuuutely get a burst of energy from this vitamin and LOVE it. It helps me power through the dinner, clean-up, bedtime routine each night. And I can confirm that if I take it too late I have a harder time falling asleep though, so definitely take it early in the afternoon. And don’t be alarmed if your pee is neon yellow.
9. Zippered Vinyl Bags
I use these zippered vinyl bags for EVERYTHING. They come in a pack of 4 and are perfect for keeping your bags and purses organized. I keep all of my purse contents in these zippered pouches so when I want to quickly change purses (I usually switch to a backpack on the weekends), I can easily transfer the pouches to the next bag. These are size small but they come in several other sizes — all the way up to XL. I also love these for the pool bag because they are waterproof and I use them for travel too. They really are the best bags!
10. Orthotic Fuzzy Slippers
I officially cannot wear slippers without arch support. I do a lot of high impact exercise and feel like the balls of my feet are always sore. So finally I caved and purchased some orthotic slippers and I LOVE THEM. These slippers are not only super comfortable, they have great arch support with a thick memory foam cushion and a plush fuzzy band. Really good for plantar fasciitis. Available in 4 colors.
11. Portable Power Bank
My phone battery drains pretty quickly and this portable charger has come in handy way more than I anticipated — especially when traveling or being out of the house all day. The best part is it plugs right into the bottom of your phone and doesn’t require a separate cord! It charges fast and recharges fast too!
12. Travel Makeup Bag
Why are good travel makeup bags so hard? I’ve tried several styles and haven’t found a really good solution…until this one! This bag is actually smaller than the hard case toiletry tote I was previously using, yet somehow it fits twice as much. The layout is brilliant for cosmetics and skincare with two large compartments, divided by a middle make-up brush compartment and several inner pockets. And one of my favorite features is how the bag can be completely opened up and lay flat so you can easily access everything! I grabbed this bag in a gorgeous lavender color and a white one for Caroline, but it’s available in 6 other colors too!
13. Portable Touchscreen TV Monitor
We purchased this portable TV for our bedroom and absolutely LOVE it. It is basically a combination of a TV and a tablet and has a touchscreen display and a solid built-in battery. It also has a wheel base so you can roll it anywhere you want — and it comes with a remote. We love to move this all around the house (like the laundry room while I fold laundry and the back porch on the weekends)! And you can stream or mirror content from your phone, tablet, etc.
14. Portable 3-in-1 Charger
This portable 3-in-1 charger is awesome and lives on my kitchen counter. I originally purchased it for traveling since it folds up tiny and combines 3 chargers into one, but I actually use it all the time. I also love to throw it in my laptop bag when I’m getting work done at coffee shops and need to recharge my devices.
15. Toothpaste Caps
My kids absolutely DESTROY their toothpaste. I swear they squeeze half of the tube every time they brush their teeth. These toothpaste caps have been a game changer. Not only have they significantly cut down on the amount of toothpaste in the sinks, they extend the life of the toothpaste tube by probably 80%.
16. Crossbody Fanny Pack
This Lulu look-a-like crossbody bag AKA the Fanny Pack started as my bag for summer and now it’s my year-round bag! I carry it everywhere — the gym, swim meets, running errands, etc. It’s the perfect size for keys, chapstick, sunglasses, and has several interior mesh pockets for cards/cash and other small items. I also got a second one to use as my dog-walking bag to store training treats, bags, sunglasses, etc.! I absolutely LOVE it. It’s easy to wear, comes in lots of colors, and is a great price!
17. Cheers Restore Pills
This after-alcohol aid is designed with the ingredient, dihydromyricetin (DHM), a natural plant extract (like caffeine is to coffee) derived from sources such as the Japanese raisin tree. Also kind of cool, Cheers was created by a team of PhDs and was featured on ABC’s Shark Tank! You can read all about the science on their website, and I’m telling you they work.
18. Pleated Tennis Skirt
I LOVE THIS SKIRT. And I get so many compliments on it every time I wear it. I have it in 2 colors but my favorite is the green!
19. Veggie Chopper
I honestly don’t know how I ever lived without this!!!! I use it multiple times a week to dice up ALL THE THINGS from onions to sweet potatoes.
20. The Game
I am absolutely HOOKED on this game! You can play with 1-5 players so it’s my go-to game when Matt isn’t up for playing something (I can play games all day every day). The average playtime is 15’ish minutes and while it’s easy to learn it’s challenging to win!
21. Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hair Spray
I’ve discovered some incredible hair products last year — this being one of them! This thickening spray gives my hair SO much volume — even more than I get with a professional blowout!
22. Hair Vitamin Serum
My gift last year for my Favorite Things Party, this serum is a no-rinse treatment that you apply while your hair is wet. It doesn’t make your hair greasy and has tremendously helped restore shine and a silky smooth texture to my hair.
23. Shower Filter
Easily one of my best Amazon purchases of 2023, this filter has made the most noticeable difference in the softness of my hair and skin — and immediately too. Matt also cannot believe how much of a difference this filter makes…or how bad our water quality must be. This shower filter is affordable, easy to install and is super helpful if you have dry itchy skin, eczema, or dandruff.
