Makeup Brush Cleaner
Admittedly, I am really bad about cleaning my makeup brushes. It’s a chore I loathe doing and will put off for months to avoid it.
I have tried many types of makeup brush cleaner over the years and finally purchased Cinema Secrets Professional Makeup Brush Cleaner (thanks to the recommendation of my beauty expert friend)!
If you hate washing your brushes, this cleaner is for you. You can tackle this chore in under 5 minutes with this stuff. No water or rinsing is required and my brushes are dry in 5 minutes (gone are the days of laying my brushes out all night to dry)! The cleaner also conditions the brushes and smells good!
Highly recommend!
Bird Feeder
We always have so many cardinals and bluebirds around our home. They make me so happy. And being the old lady that I am, I decided to mount a pretty bird feeder right outside my kitchen window to host these little beauties. It’s really nice that the tray is removable too so I can bring it inside to fill with wild bird seed! And we’ve already had several visitors!!!! It’s been so fun to watch!
Note: After our squirrel snafu earlier this year, I’ve already decided if I see ONE squirrel in that feeder it is GONE!

The Face Cream That Surprised Me In A Big Way
I recently stumbled upon this face cream while looking for a moisturizer I could apply in the mornings before I go to the gym. My skin needs hydration as soon as I wake up and it pains me to sweat off expensive skincare products so I did some research and found Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré.
It’s a 6-in-1 French skincare cream and the 26K+ glowing reviews sold me. I’ve been using it for about 2 months now and I honestly cannot believe how amazing it really is — especially for the price!!! I have found myself reaching for it more than any of my other products because it works so well. It’s super creamy but lightweight, smells clean, super hydrating and since it’s also a primer, you can apply your makeup right on top (and also use it at the end of the day as a makeup remover milk).
Update: SO MANY OF YOU have shared that you also use it…and that once upon a time (pre-Amazon) you could only find this product in French pharmacies. Apparently all the models used it too! Very cool.
The Meaning of Marriage
The spring semester of bible study kicked off this month and we are reading The Meaning of Marriage by Tim Keller. It’s been more than a decade since I last read this book so I am excited to see how much more I glean from it 10 years further into marriage. If you haven’t read this book, I highly recommend it.
Speaking of bible study, I wanted to re-share my bible for anyone in the market for one! This hardback women’s study bible is packed with study notes, reflections, and STUNNING illustrations. I absolutely love it!
High Temp Spray Paint
The spray paint we used for our painted brick fireplace project.
Using a high-temperature spray paint for a fireplace is crucial. Regular spray paints are not designed to withstand the high temperatures generated by fireplaces and can break down, crack, peel, blister, or discolor when exposed to heat. I used two cans of flat black spray paint.
Orgain Organic Protein Powder
I am on my 10th canister of this protein powder and love it so much. It doesn’t have any dairy, lactose or soy ingredients, no added sugar, no artificial flavors, preservatives, or sweeteners. I mix in a scoop to all sorts of snacks and breakfast items — and most recently my Protein Powder Cookie Dough Bark!
Self Tanner Mousse
Last year I polled y’all for self-tanner recommendations and the Beauty by Earth brand was the top recommendation! I love that it is made with clean ingredients, free of chemical dyes, parabens, and toxins. I just ran out of the lotion and bought the mousse to try and oh my gosh, I LOVE IT even more than the lotion! It’s lightweight and fast-absorbing making it easier and quicker to apply. I skip the mitt and use my hands so I don’t waste any of the product, and then just wash my hands after. I use medium-dark and it’s a great color to build on.
Mini Classic Platform Boots & Pullover Sweater
If you’ve been eyeing the UGG Classic Mini Platform Boots, I wanted to share these super cute boots that are 1/3 the price and very comfortable!
Also, this pullover sweater makes me feel pulled together even when I’m wearing leggings. I wear it SO much. It’s an oversized fit, comes in a rainbow of colors, and is seriously so cozy and comfortable.
