This Jamaican Jerk Pork has been a staple in our house since 2017, and honestly, it’s still just as easy and delicious today. This two-ingredient recipe was originally shared by my friend McKinsey, who made it for us one night, and we’ve been hooked ever since!
It’s the perfect go-to when you want something flavorful with minimal effort—definitely a crowd-pleaser every time (our kids especially loved this meal as toddlers!). Plus, it’s amazing for lunch meal prep, and the best part is, it’s a super simple slow cooker recipe for those extra busy nights when you still want a delicious dinner without all the fuss.

Jamaican Jerk Pork Sauce
The secret to this tasty dish is in the sauce—Anntonys Caribbean All Purpose Sauce. Originally crafted by Anntonys Caribbean Café, a beloved Charlotte institution that served authentic Caribbean cuisine for over 40 years, this sauce captures the vibrant flavors of the islands. After the restaurant’s closure in 2022, the sauce became available for purchase, allowing fans to recreate the unique taste at home. You can find it on Amazon, and trust me, once you try it, you’ll want to keep a bottle in your pantry for all your grilling and cooking needs! It’s seriously the easiest way to bring a little Caribbean flavor into your kitchen, and it’s guaranteed to be a hit at any BBQ or dinner. Anntony’s also sells a specific jerk sauce which is also delicious, but we’ve always used the All Purpose Sauce because it’s our fave!
Recipe Ingredients & Tools
This recipe comes together with only two ingredients — the pork and the sauce, but I’m sharing some additional options below for how to serve it!
- GreenPan Crockpot: I absolutely love my stainless steel slow cooker. Not only is it made with a nontoxic (PFAS-free) ceramic nonstick coating for the inner pan, but it also has some seriously impressive features. Unlike older slow cookers, this one has the ability to brown and sear, so you can get that perfect caramelization on your pork before it even starts slow cooking. It also has steaming options and five slow cook modes, making it super versatile for a variety of meals.
- Anntonys Caribbean All Purpose Sauce: This sauce is the real deal, packed with the perfect balance of spicy, savory, and sweet flavors that bring out the best in the pork.
- Pork Tenderloin: For this recipe, pork tenderloin is the perfect cut of meat. It’s lean, tender, and cooks beautifully in the slow cooker. The meat becomes juicy and full of flavor, soaking up the spices and sauce perfectly. Look for a tenderloin that’s about 1-2 pounds.
How to Serve Jamaican Jerk Pork
We love serving this jerk pork over Trader Joe’s Organic Microwave Rice for a super easy side dish that’s ready in just a few minutes.
For a fresh and flavorful twist, top your pork bowls with Caribbean Salsa. This salsa is super simple to make and adds a burst of sweetness and tang that pairs perfectly with the spiced pork. It’s the perfect bright, tropical side dish to balance out the rich flavors of the jerk pork. This combo will have your taste buds doing a happy dance and makes for a refreshing and healthy meal prep option!
Caribbean Salsa
To make this salsa, just combine
- 1 large diced avocado
- 2 large ripe mangos (peeled and diced)
- 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
- pinch of salt and pepper
Lunch Meal Prep Tips for Jamaican Jerk Pork
Once the pork is cooked, this dish makes the perfect base for meal prepping lunches throughout the week! The tender, flavorful pork can be easily stored in the fridge in individual portions, ready to be reheated for a quick and satisfying meal. Add a large scoop of rice to your container, top with tons of pork and a side of salsa. I like to include a small container of extra Anntony’s sauce for drizzling on top when you’re ready to eat!

Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork tenderloin (extra fat trimmed)
- 1 bottle Anntony's Caribbean All Purpose Sauce
- Optional: Rice for serving
Caribbean Salsa (optional)
- 1 large diced avocado
- 2 large ripe mangos (peeled and diced)
- 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
- pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
- Add your pork tenderloin to your slow cooker and top with almost the full bottle of Anntony's sauce (reserve about 3/4 cup for drizzling at the end). Tip: If your slow cooker has a searing function, sear all sides of the tenderloin before topping with sauce. This will give you some crispy pieces and help lock in the flavor.
- Slow cook pork tenderloin on low for 6 hours.
- Remove pork from crockpot (save the juices) and shred or chop. Return the pork back to the crockpot to soak up any remaining juice.
- Serve over rice and top with Caribbean salsa.
