A Dreamy Picnic Party

Last weekend Caroline hosted a few friends over for a little backyard picnic party! It was the cutest thing ever and everyone had a blast.

My friend Melissa with Under the Sky Picnic partnered with me to create the most magical set-up too. In just 8 minutes, she completely transformed a patch of grass in the backyard into a circus themed picnic. It was absolute perfection in every way.

The picnic set-up included a personalized “ticket” to the circus, fun coloring pages, ginormous fluffy pillows, a whimsical tablescape and delicious picnic lunchboxes!

As each girl arrived, their faces lit up with excitement when they entered the backyard. This is what picnic dreams are made of y’all…

I loved the circus theme. It was so fun, playful, and vibrant. All of the colors really popped and made the space so bright and happy!

The girls spent a few hours playing some of our favorite games, chasing each other around the yard, snacking, and coloring.

For lunch, each girl had a yummy boxed lunch with a turkey and cheese sandwich, chips, grapes, juice box, and a cookie! There is something about a personal box that just makes lunch so much more fun, right?!

Meanwhile, Thomas and his best friend Henry played Mario Brothers inside and thankfully left the girls alone — for the most part.

The picnic party was a success — and totally worth picking up a million “hot lava” foam pieces all over the yard afterwards.
