This whipped feta with honey is deliciously simple and is rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The feta gives it a salty tang, the lemon gives it zing, and the hot honey balances it all out with a sweet kick!
All you need is a few ingredients and 5 minutes to make it!
Reasons Why We You’ll Whipped Feta with Honey
- The leftover dip is delicious for spreading on sandwiches or toast, add a dollop to your soup, or top it on fresh roasted veggies. Personally, I love dipping pizza crust into my leftover feta dip! The options are endless really! Store it in the fridge for up to 3 days (the dip will thicken the longer it sits).
- It only takes 5 minutes to make and requires just a few steps.
- It’s a crowd-pleaser and is perfect for your next gathering or holiday party. Serve it as a mezze platter or on a charcuterie board and it will disappear quickly!
Whipped Feta with Honey Ingredients
- Feta Cheese: For this recipe, you’ll want to use the block of feta, not the crumbles (which is too dry and contains extra ingredients to prevent caking).
- Cream Cheese: I recommend the full-fat cream cheese so it’s creamier and easier to whip
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil: Use high-quality olive oil to elevate this dish. I love and swear by my Kosterina EVOO!
- Lemon: You’re going to use both the juice and zest from the lemon.
- Garlic: I prefer fresh minced garlic but you can use pre-minced garlic too.
- Honey: We love HOT HONEY on our whipped feta but you can also use regular honey.
- Garnishes: Dill is a pretty garnish for this dip. You can also sprinkle some red pepper flakes, crushed pistachios, pine nuts, and more on top! The possibilities are endless!
- Dippers: Serve with fresh veggies like cucumber and carrots or warm pita bread.
Alright, grab your food processor and let’s whip it…whip it good!
