Five on Friday!

Happy Friday!

one // Earlier this week the Charlotte Agenda announced April Robson as the winner of their Parent of the Year Award. The article is absolutely beautiful and I cannot think of a more deserving mom than April for this award. She is the strongest, bravest, most beautiful mama I know.

An excerpt from the story…

A few months ago, April was speaking with a mother whose child is also battling the same illness as Charlotte. April gave her one piece of advice: “Our children look up at us, and they either see a mom who’s crying in her pillow or dancing with them in the kitchen.”

Right?  Grab some tissues before heading over to read the full article.

two // Matt insisted that I notify everyone looking to purchase a gift for the golfer in your life that these Taylormade TP5 Golf Balls are absolutely amazing — and the price is much better than his usual Titleist Pro V1 Golf Balls.  Well, actually the TP5 is normally $3 less than the ProV1 (per dozen), but for some “crazy reason” TaylorMade has reduced the price of the TP5 to a “crazy low price”.  I made the mistake of asking Matt why this ball is so “amazing”.  He gave me some sales pitch that included a lot of science and golf terms, but the gist is that Rory McIlroy is playing it and the ball is every bit as good as the ProV1.  Whoever Rory McIlroy is.

three // It was a BIG week for our little fish! Caroline graduated from AquaTots Level 3 leapfrogs to Level 4 starfish!! So proud of her!

four // Now that the chilly weather has arrived, I have to give a reminder about my favorite High Waist Tummy Control Capris & High Waist Tummy Control Leggings. Since I originally posted about them awhile ago, I’ve been slowly tossing out my old leggings and replacing them pair by pair with these amazing Zella knock offs. They come in TONS of colors and are $34 for TWO PAIRS!!!! A few weeks ago I purchased a THREE pack (size small) for $50 and have been wearing them a ton.

Are they leggings just for working out or do they work for regular clothes? My favorite exercise leggings all have a seam that makes them look to much like workout leggings to wear with regular clothes.

I wear them for both! They don’t have the thick seams that my other workout leggings have.
