1. Fall Porch In Progress
We got a head start on fall this year with a pumpkin setup from Picture Perfect Porches! I’m always amazed at how a few pumpkins can make things feel instantly seasonal. Since we decorated a little early, I’m holding off on adding mums until the temps drop a bit, but it already feels festive walking up to the front door.
2. Autumn Cakelet Pan Season
I busted out my Autumn Cakelet Pan last weekend to make two-ingredient pumpkin muffins, and the kids have loved finding these fun little acorn and leaf-shaped muffins in their lunch boxes! I also love using this pan for cornbread muffins (perfect for serving with a big pot of chili).
Cakelet Pan Tip: Make sure to grease the pan before using so they pop right out.
3. Lip Blushing
For my birthday this year, I asked Matt for a powder brow refresh and lip blushing. I’ve kept up with my brow touchups over the years, but the lip color I had done back in 2021 had completely faded…and I missed it.
Amanda at Penny Rose & Co. did my little glow up, and she is truly the best. She was actually my top pick last time for lips, but her waitlist was loooong and I was impatient. Totally worth the wait though—her work is beautiful, and she makes the whole experience feel super easy and relaxed.
I’ve shared the full lip blushing process before, but here’s the quick version: it’s semi-permanent (lasts 1.5–4 years), involves two sessions, and gives your lips the prettiest natural tint so you can skip lipstick most days. Definitely a little extra, but I love always having a bit of color on my lips, especially for no-makeup days.
Right now my lips are BOLD and starting to flake, but I can’t wait to show them off soon when they are healed!
4. Fall Supper Club Dinner
Last night I hosted Supper Club, and the menu was incredible. My sweet friend Caroline, who owns cArey Out!, created the most delicious fall dinner for us.
