Cross your fingers for us this morning — we’re wrangling our toddlers onto an airplane and heading to Florida! I am so so so so so excited to meet my littleist love, see my daddy and hang with the fam for a few days.
one. I spent a few days in Atlanta this week for work which I didn’t mind one bit because I got a night out with my bestie Brynn at Barcelona Wine Room. We shared tons of small plates and had the very best time catching up since I last saw her. Isn’t she the prettiest?!
two. On our grocery run during mama spring break we picked up a few pints of Halo Top. I was clearly the last one to the party (per usual!) because everyone raved about this ice cream all weekend and it definitely lived up to the hype! My friend Laura mixes half of this ice cream with half of her favorite Ben & Jerry’s ice cream so she cuts the calories but not the quantity of her dessert — brilliant, right?!
New romper + wedges from my favorite boutique, Petal! It’s not available online (yet!) but it is available in-store ($58), and they will ship it (my sister does this all the time)!
three. Last night, when we should have been packing for Florida, Matt and I decided to dip out for a quick date night at Foxcroft Wine. We shared my new favorite Sauvignon Blanc (Cloudy Bay!!!) that my friend Abby introduced me to on vacation and a large bowl of truffle fries, sliders and award-winning brussels sprouts! Then we polished off our wine with some homemade donuts. So you can find me hiding behind a beach towel in my bikini this weekend — but it was totally worth it.
four. I recently re-read a hilarious article,12 Jim Gaffigan Quotes & Jokes: Everything You Need To Know About Family & Parenting, and had to share it for those of you looking for a good laugh. I am a huge Jim Gaffigan fan. If you love the article, you should absolutely check out his book, Dad is Fat.
five. Okay friends, help a mama out — neuLASH or R&F Lash Boost? One of my girlfriends recently used Lash Boost and her lashes are ahhhhh-maaaazing but I’ve heard great things about neuLASH too and it’s a little less expensive. Give me some feedback!!

I love the Lash Boost! I started it back when it came out. My lashes were very light and not very noticeable. It made a difference for me. My thought is if you don't like it, it's 60 day money back guarantee. I'm a consultant if you have any more questions email me at [email protected].
It's also only $150. The Amazon link shows it for $170. I hope that helps too.
Have a great trip to my state. Hope your Dad is doing better!!
The brussels at foxcroft are AMAZING!!!! And I vote LashBoost. I've been using it since November, and my lashes are noticeably longer and thicker. Plus I'm still on the same tube because I only use it 2-3 times a week. I've still seen results, but I'm not using it as directed… Saves money! Have a good trip!
What a great week!! I absolutely love that romper on you – beautiful!! All of the food looks delicious, too. I keep hearing great things about that ice cream too!
Yum, that dinner sounds amazing! Can't wait to see what people say about the lash stuff, because I've been looking at both of those too! I need to do something with these lashes! Have a wonderful time with your family!
Hi Christina- I'm new to your blog and love it! Where do you find Cloudy Bay? Is it a TJ's find or grocery store/Total Wine?Have a great holiday weekend! We're heading to Pigeon Forge, TN later today for my son's baseball tournament…not how I'd usually spend a holiday weekend but he's excited and the other parents are a fun group, so should be a good time! 🙂
halo top is really good. i like their original flavors a bit more than their newer ones. but i love the idea of mixing two together!!! i often mix their pb with the vanilla. so good!! oh, and i had cookies hahah!
LOVE Halo top! Birthday cake flavor is amazing!
We've been on the Halo Top bandwagon for quite a while and were so excited when all the flavors FINALLY made their way to CA a few months ago. I have 4 words for you OATMEAL COOKIE & RED VELVET!!! Run to your nearest store and get these!!!! I actually haven't heard of neuLash, but I LOVE the Lash Boost. (full disclosure, I'm a consultant) I've been using it and had the most pitiful lashes ever and they are beautiful now, but my daughters…they are AH-MAZING!!! She gets comments all.the.time. You probably already have a friend who sells it, but just in case I'd be more than happy to set you up. There's a 60 day money back guarantee, so you really have nothing to lose if you try and aren't happy with your results. I started seeing a difference at 4 weeks and my husband was genuinely amazed by 8 weeks. Preferred Customer pricing saves you 10% and FREE shipping. My website is http://www.lrichardson3.myrandf.com Have so much fun getting all the baby snuggles this weekend.?
I have tried two other things that work and are much more reasonably priced. Babe Lash I got from Amazon, and RapidLash. I ordered it from the website but it may be available other places. About $50 each! Check their reviews just to be sure.
I have heard awesome things about the R & F Lash boost. I want to try it, my BFF has done it and her results are amazing! Have a fun time in FL. Your date night looks lovely, I am itching to go on one! xoxo ERIN
LOVE LASH BOOST!
Lash Boost is the best! My eyelashes are insane… in a good way!
I would recommend that you read the ingredients on both to make your decision – run them through ewg.org as well 🙂
Hi Christina! Both of these products have a synthetic version of the pro-inflammatory chemical found in Latisse. In an undocumented percentage of users it causes redness, watering, and potentially permanent dry eye. My advice is listen to your body; if you experience any irritation or eye discomfort, stop using it immediately! http://www.eyedolatryblog.com/2017/04/is-your-lash-growth-serum-causing.html
Forget the fakes, call the plastic surgeon who did your mastectomy and get a prescription for Latisse. You can download a coupon and get it from Walmart for about $45, just search "latisse" on goodrx.com and you'll get a link straight to the coupon. I was getting extensions and then asked my friend where she gets hers done because my girl took forever. She told me she used Latisse. It took two months, but my eyelashes look like they did with extensions without the hassle and continued time and money spend. Don't use the latisse brushes, they absorb 90% of the product, just put one drop into the top of the bottle and use an eyeliner brush to paint it on like eyeliner.
