Five on Friday!

What a week! I seriously couldn't get through these past 5 days fast enough! Work has been tough and pregnancy exhaustion has taken over so I've felt like a stressed out zombie, which is a unique combination. Thankfully, tonight we have dinner plans at one of my favorite restaurants with 13 of our closest friends. I can't wait to relax, sneak a few sips of Matt's wine when he's not looking and celebrate two engagements and a birthday!

On to 5 highlights from this week...

- ONE - Earlier this week Mel and I celebrated her birthday over delicious grilled pimento cheese sandwiches at Savor Cafe
 - TWO - Aunt Lindsey strikes again! Caroline received her first seersucker dress this week and I about fell to pieces when I opened it. I swear my sister finds the cutest little dresses. I can't wait to get this monogrammed for summertime!
- THREE - I don't normally splurge on nice makeup, but my mother-in-law recently surprised me with a Sephora gift card and I knew exactly what I was going to get...new foundation! Over the weekend, Laura and I went to the mall for what we expected to be a quick stop into Sephora. This "errand" quickly turned into full blown impromptu makeovers since we were the only two people in the store. We had so much fun and I walked away with some awesome new Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation!
- FOUR - I seriously love my co-workers and can't imagine what my job would be like without them. Even through the craziest days and stressful weeks, they make the days enjoyable. I spend so much time with them throughout the days that I often joke that baby Caroline will likely recognize their voices before she recognizes her own family! So anyway, my friends Amy and Caroline both left me surprises this week in my office that cheered me right up and left a smile on my face all day. Caroline left beautiful flowers on my desk and Amy {a fellow mommy} made me laugh pretty hard with a surprise 100 count box of nursing pads (not pictured). They are the greatest.
- FIVE - New fabulous blog alert! Remember my friend Kristen? You know, the gorgeous newlywed I often mention who hosts amazing parties {here, here, here, and here}, is the most impressive interior designer I know, is the the momma to two adorable golden doodle puppies {Marlowe & Mille} and is responsible for the best design decisions I've made in our home!?! Well, she's started a new blog, Monde et Maison, designed by the talented Laura Wyatt, to share her world travels, decorating skills, parties and more! Go check her out!
