Allow me to introduce my latest favorite cocktail — the Strawberry Cucumber Margarita! Just in time for Valentine’s Day, this refreshing cocktail is a twist on my favorite classic margarita. The muddled strawberries and cucumber give it the perfect balance of fruity with just the right amount of sweetness. And the elderflower liqueur gives it a smooth floral finish that makes it dangerously delicious. If you’re a fellow margarita lover, this one is for you!
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz elderflower liqueur
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz agave
- 2 large strawberries
- 2 large cucumber slices
- Splash of club soda
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle strawberries and cucumbers together.
- Pour in tequila, elderflower liqueur, lime juice and agave. Shake well.
- Strain into a glass filled with ice and top with *club soda.
- Optional: garnish with *cucumber ribbon and strawberry.
To make the cucumber ribbon: Use a knife to trim the ends of the cucumber and use a vegetable peeler to carefully slice the cucumber lengthways into long, thin ribbons.
Another option: Swap out club soda for a splash of your favorite San Pellagrino flavor.
